You can choose to renew your BUSY license for either **360 days** or **1080 days**, based on your business needs.

### What is the renewal duration when upgrading to BUSY 21 from an older version?

The renewal duration remains the same regardless of the software version. All renewals are applied to the latest version of BUSY. If you're upgrading from **[BUSY 17](https://busy.in/busy-17-software-download/) or an earlier version, additional upgrade charges** may apply apart from the standard renewal cost.

### How much does it cost to renew a BUSY Software License after expiry?

The **renewal charges remain the same** whether you renew before or after expiry. However, renewing in advance offers the **benefit of extended validity**. For detailed pricing, please refer to the **[pricing section](#software-renewal-price-list)**.

### Will my BUSY license become inactive if I don't renew on time?

For a Perpetual License, **[BUSY software](https://busy.in/)** remains active even after the BLS expires, but you'll lose access to software updates and BLS-linked features. For a Subscription License, the software will switch to Demo Mode once the BLS expires.

### What happens if I renew my license six months after it has expired?

During the inactive period, you won't have access to BLS-linked features. However, once renewed, all features and services are restored immediately without data loss.
