# How can I customize the exported reports/documents from BUSY software?How do I upload my existing data into BUSY? What formats are supported?

If you want to customize the exported report or document, export it to Excel, and then add columns or rows as needed to meet your requirements..

If you want to import your existing data into BUSY, you can do so using the XML import process and here are the steps :

Note : Please take latest backup of data before importing data in BUSY

Process of Data Export

Step 1: Go to Administration
Step 2: Click on Data Export Import
Step 3: Click on Data Export/Import XML
Step 4: Click on Export Data option and then click on Masters or Transactions option whichever you want to export
Step 5: Select the fields of masters or transactons as per your requirement
Step 6: Specify the path of exported file and then click in export button, it will take few minutes to exprot data in XML in spcified path

Process of Data Import

Step 1: Go to Administration
Step 2: Click on Data Export Import
Step 3: Click on Data Export/Import XML
Step 4: Click on Import Data option and select the exported XMl file by click on three dots tehn press OK
Step 5: Then click on Import button and then Match configuration of both Source and Target Company by clicking on OK button
