# How can I set up automatic backups in BUSY?.

To set up automatic backups in BUSY, you can follow these steps:
Step 1: Download BUSY Agent from the official website (https://busy.in/download/), select BUSY Agent, and click on download.
Step 2: After download BUSY Agent setup click on install.
Step 3: while installing BUSY agent always set file location path of BUSY where install C:\\BUSYwin.
Step 4: open BUSY Agent click on General configuration select database type MS Access or SQL as per your BUSY data type.
Step 5: Select Data Directory path C:\\BUSYWin\\DATA.
Step 6: click on Save Configuration
Step 7: To set up auto backup in local drive click on Backup Configuration Local.
Step 8: Click on Yes to create backup on local drive.
Step 9: select specify path for backup such as. D:\\BUSY Auto Backup or any other location.
Step 10: Choose the option for creating auto backup folders, which can be based on the Date - Company Wise or Company date wise.
Step 11: Select whether you want to backup all companies or only selected companies.
Step 12: Click on Backup Schedule to configure when and how often the backups should be taken.
Step 13: Configure the auto backup schedule, specifying the day, time, and how many days you want to retain the backups.
step 14: Finally, click on Save Configuration to save the backup settings.
