# What steps are necessary for importing data from Excel into BUSY?

These are the steps that are necessary for importing data from Excel into BUSY.:

Step 1: Go to Administration Menu
Step 2: Click on Data Export Import option
Step 3: Click on Import voucher from excel
Step 4: Select Voucher Type
Step 5: Select Format if not created then click on Configure Box
Step 6: Then select voucher and then click on ADD format option and mention the fromat name and then click on save button
Step 7: Next, Select the voucher and format name, then click on the Configure Box
Step 8: Then A window will appear that displays the default components for this voucher. Confirm by selecting YES
Step 9: Then Proceed to configure it as the Excel format you have prepared and then save the configuration by clicking on save button
Step 10: Then again go to the Import voucher from excel window and select Format name
Step 11: Then configure the other details as per your requirement
Step 12: Then attach the Excel file in the Excel File Path field and specify the sheet number as 1.
Step 13: Then Specify Starting Row number and Ending Row number as 0
Step 14: Subsequently, click on the Import button to start the data importing process.
