How do I set up data synchronization between multiple offices or branches in BUSY?
To sync data between Head Office (HO) and Branch Office (BO), you need to use BUSY Enterprise edition and store your HO data in SQL Database. And follow these steps for set up the configurations:
For Head Office:
Step 1: Go to Administration and click on configuration.
Step 2: Select Features / Options and click on Enterprises Features.
Step 3: Set Y on Enable "Multi Branch Details" and click on Branch Details and create Branch Master with all the necessary detais such voucher series group, material centre,etc.
Step 4: Then, Set Y on "Enable HO / BO Data Sync." and select our status as Head Office and click on Configurartion.
Step 5: Now, Select your branch and set Y on "Enable Sync for this Branch" and assign rights for Master Type / Voucher Type as per the requirements and save.
For Branch Office:
Step 1: Go to Administration and click on configuration.
Step 2: Select Features / Options and click on Enterprises Features.
Step 3: Then, Set Y on "Enable HO / BO Data Sync." and select our status as Branch Office and click on Configurartion.
Step 4: Now, select Specify Server Information Below and enter your SQL Server Information(HO) after that enter your HO company code, Branch Name & User Name.
Step 5: You can Enable Auto Data Sync by select as Ask / Enforce.
Step 6: Now, first Check Connection if no error in that and click on Read Head Office Configuration and save all the settings. Now your BUSY is ready to sync data between HO and BO.
Please note: If your Head Office is in a different location, you need to open port 1433 on your internet router.
