Sales vouchers and receipt vouchers in BUSY are different in terms of their purpose and the type of transactions they represent.
Sales vouchers are used to record sales transactions, where goods or services are sold to customers. They capture details such as the customer's name, item details, quantity, rate, and amount. Sales vouchers are used to generate invoices for customers.
On the other hand, receipt vouchers are used to record receipt transactions, where payments are received from customers. They capture details such as the customer's name, payment mode, amount received, and reference details. Receipt vouchers are used to track and reconcile customer payments.
In summary, sales vouchers are used for recording sales transactions, while receipt vouchers are used for recording receipt transactions in BUSY.

To add or remove columns in a report of BUSY, you need to follow these steps:
Step 1: Open the desired report that you want to add a column to.
Step 2: Click on Custom Columns in the report’s header part.
Step 3: Create a Format Name and click on Add New Col.. Enter the details such as heading, position, data type, etc. for the new column.
Step 4: Select a category and click on Fields. Search for the field that you want to add and select it. Save your changes.
Step 5: To remove any column just uncheck the column field and save changes.
Step 6: Reopen the report with the format name that you created. You will see your new column with the appropriate data.

To track the voucher whose payment in pending from parties, follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to Display section then click on Outstanding analysis report.
Step 2: Choose the Bills receivable option then you can select the party as per requirement.
Step 3: A window will appear, Select Pending for type of entries to be considered and Press on OK tab and view the report.
To send the paymeny reminder from BUSY, follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to Print/Email/SMS section then click on Outstanding analysis report.
Step 2: Select the payment reminder option, and you can Choose the reminder format according to your needs. Choose the specific party for whom you want to send the reminder, and then easily share the reminder through SMS or email.

To see aging reports in BUSY and identify customers with outstanding payments, you can follow these steps:
 1. Open BUSY and log in to your account.
 2. Navigate to the Displaysection or menu.
 3. Look for the option or tab labeled Ageing Receivables Fifo basis And Ageing paybles FIFO basis
 4. Click on the aging report option to generate the report.
 5. The report will display a list of customers along with their outstanding payment amounts categorized by different time periods (e.g., 30 days, 60 days, 90 days).
 6. Review the report to identify customers with overdue payments or outstanding balances.
 Please note that the exact steps may vary depending on the version and configuration of BUSY you are using.

Step 1: Go to transaction section then choose receipt entry
Step 2: Click on Add tab and then post the receipt accounting.
Step 3: After mention the amount of party, a Bill by bill reference adjustment window will appear.You need to adjust the relevant reference and save the entry.

Analysis report displays details of all the Sales and Sales Return transactions. From this report you can also view details of items sold or returned through specific brokers.

In the Account Registers (Standard) option, you can print all the account registers in the Standard format as created by BUSY. On clicking the Account Registers (Standard) option, list of following Sales registers appear.
Sales Register,Sales Return Register.

Here are some potential reasons why this could be happening and what you can do to correct it:
Step 1:Verify that you applied the payment to the correct invoice.
Step 2 :When recording the payment in BUSY, make sure to specify the amount that should be applied to the invoice. 
Step 3 :Ensure that the payment entry date matches the actual date when the payment was made or received. 
Step 4 :Find the option to mark the invoice as Paidor Closedin BUSY after applying the payment.
Step 5 :Confirm that both the payment and invoice are within the same accounting period or financial year.
Step 6 :If none of the above solutions resolve the problem, consider contacting BUSY's customer support for assistance. 

If your outstanding list is not updated correctly, you can try these steps to fix it:
Make sure to take backup of your data befor maing any changes.
Step 1: Identify the account that has the issue and check if all the entries related to that account are recorded correctly.
Step 2: If the account has some opening balance, make sure it is reflected properly in the account master.
Step 3: Go to the Housekeeping menu and select “Update Master Balances”. Wait for the process to finish and check if the outstanding list is updated.
