To carry forward a balance in BUSY, you can follow these steps:
Step 1: Open the company in BUSY.
Step 2: Go to the "Administrationmenu and select "Change Finacial Year"
Step 3: Select the financial year for which you want to carry forward the balance.
Step 4: Click on the "Carry Forwardwith all Master.
Step 5: A confirmation message will appear. Click "Yesto proceed.
Step 6: The balances from the previous year will be carried forward to the new financial year.

Step 2: Then click on new year from and press ok button to create new year.
Step 3: Click on start button to start the process.
Step 4: It will take some time vary upon the data size. 
Step 5: After completing it successfully, you will get an pop up of financial year changed successfully then click on ok button to auto switch in the new year.

 If you're facing issues carrying forward Input Tax Credit (ITC) from the last financial year in BUSY, due to below reasons : 
 1:Verify if there is only one financial year set up in BUSY. 
 2:Ensure that the pending ITC is being carried forward correctly. 
 3:Check if you have sufficient user rights to perform this task.

To correct a wrong entry made last year that is affecting the current year process in BUSY, you need to go into last year and modify the wrong voucher then change financial year again by using these steps: 
Step 1: Go to Administration menu then click on Change Financial Year.
Step 2: Then choose the next financial year to change.after that select as Yes on carry balances window and can choose the New and Changed Masters option.
Step 3: Click on Start button and check after complete the process.

If All items created in current year need to update that all in previous financial year, please follow these steps:
Step 1 : Take backup from backup data option in company menu
Step 2 : Go to previous financial year from administration menu 
Step 3 : Then administration and Click on bulk updation select master synchronization
Step 4 : Select master type as item and key field name
Step 5 : Load and tick all new items created
Step 6 : Select target financial year to current financial year and complete process.

To confirm opening balance is properly updated into current financial year from the last year , please check the Opening trial -Mismatch Prev.Yr. report , please follow below steps: 
Step 1: Open BUSY and log into company, and then go to Display menu and select the  trial Balance report option.
Step 2 : And then Select the Opening trial -Mismatch from prev. Yr. click on the Ok button to view the report . Here you can get the groupwise balance details of previous year and Current year.

If the split financial year process not done according to your need, then you can delete the splitted company by using these steps:
Step 1: Open the BUSY then click on delete company or single financial year.
Step 2: Select the splitted company which you want to delete and enter the super or admin login credentials If required. after that the window will get open where it ask to choose either the complete company or single company for deletion then delete it as per you need and press ok.

You need to press F11 in current financial year to switch to last financial year and can make the necessary changes as required.
After making the changes you need to update the same in the next financial year by using these steps:
Step 1: Go to administration menu then click on change financial year.
Step 2: Then choose the next financial year to change.
Step 3: Select Yes on carry balances window and choose the new and changed masters option.
Step 4: Click on start button and check after complete the process.

To transfer the closing of 2023-2024 to the opening of 2024-2025, you need to follow these steps :
Step 1 : Go to administration menu then click on change financial year 
Step 2: Then click on New year from 01-04-2024 and select ok to create new year.
Step 3: Click on start button to start the process and check after complete it.
Step 4: After completing it you will get an pop up of Financial year changed successfully then click on Ok button to auto switch in the new year.
