If you have existing data, you can create a financial year within the existing company or create a new company for the next financial year as required.

To view particular financial year in BUSY, you need to change financial year from the administration menu or press F11 shortucut key to switch the financial year.
What should I do if the ledger in the previous year was not created and there is an issue with opening balances in the current year?
No. Opening balance can only mention in the Beginning fy . Now you can Create the new party master can not update the opening balance
Is there a limit on how many times I can split my company in BUSY? Will my subscription change after splitting?
You can split your company data by financial year in BUSY and after spliting can't merge again. And your BUSY subscription will not affect after spliting.
If I separate and work on one financial years data, will the changes be updated in both financial years automatically?
No, if you have splited the financial year and work on one financial year then the chnages will not update in the next financial year automatically.
Is there any specific order in which financial years need to be updated in BUSY?
When you create multiple financial years in a company, they will auto alinged in ascending order from top to botton under the change financial year option.
