To create a POS billing voucher entry in BUSY accounting software follow the below steps:
Step1: Navigating to POS Billing Voucher Entry:Configure the "Standard / Advanced POS " option in the voucher configuration- Voucher series configuration menu the BUSY software. Click on it to open the Sales voucher POS billing voucher entry window.
Step 2 :Item Details:Choose the items being sold in the POS transaction. You can either enter the item codes/names manually or use barcode scanning if the software supports it..
Step 3: Quantity and Price:Enter the quantity and selling price of each item. The total amount will be automatically calculated based on the quantity and price entered.
Step 4 :Discounts and Taxes:If applicable, apply any discounts or promotions to individual items or the entire bill. Add taxes, if required, to calculate the final payable amount.
Step 5: Payment Method:Select the payment method used by the customer, such as cash, credit card, or digital wallet. If the customer is paying through multiple methods, enter the amounts accordingly. Enable Settlement details in the advanced POS configuration for the multiple payment methods .
Step 6:Save the POS Billing Voucher:After reviewing the details, save the POS billing voucher in the BUSY software.
