If there is a mismatch in stock account after splitting the financial year then you need to update the opening stock value manually in the stock master by using these steps:
Step 1: Open your company then go to Administration menu.
Step 2: After that select Masters and choose stock Account then click to Modify.
Step 3: Select the Stock account and after opening it enter the opening stock value manually then save it.

Before closing your financial year in BUSY, you need to follow these steps:
Step 1: Ensure the all the entries are correctly recorded.
Step 2: Make sure all the payments and receipts are up to date.
Step 3: Post depreciation on your fixed assets from the Depreciation Chart under the Display menu.
Step 4: Transfer the profit or loss to the capital account through journal voucher.
Step 5: Pass journal voucher for posting any adjustments entries.

To close a financial year and change fin yr in BUSY, follow these Steps:
Step 1 : This involves reconciling and finalizing the past yearly data.
Step 2 : Make sure to review and reconcile all transactions, balances, and reports before finalizing the year.
Step 3 : take backup of your data
Step 4 : click on administration
Step 5 : change financial year
Step 6 : switch to the next financial year with carry balances all.

To Change or switch Between two Financial Year in BUSY, there is two options are available. 
Step 1: If you want to Change or switch Financial Year in BUSY Go to Administration Menu Click on Change Financial Year option
Step 2: Click on the desired Financial YearYear from 01-04- Year which you want to change or switch.
Step 3: Use F11 to Change or Switch: To execute the change, use the F11 key.

Before forward the closing balance to next year, you should take the latest backup of your data by follow these steps:
Step 1: Open BUSY then click on company menu.
Step 2: Choose the backup data option then select required company
Step 3: Mention the company admin username and password and click on ok tab
Step 4: Specify the path for backup, select the required financial year and click on ok to take backup.

Master Synchronization: You should use this utility when you want to update the details of your masters such as address, group, hsn codes, etc which didn't carry forward to the next financial year.
Change financial year: You should run the change financial year process when you want to create a new financial year and if you had made changes in last year and update the balances in the next financial year.

If items balances not updating in a current financial year, please follow these steps :
Step 1 : Switch to previous financial year.
Step 2 : Click on display then final results open balance sheet.
Step 3 : Enable update balance sheet stock as Y and open balance sheet.
Step 4 : Go to house keeping run update master balances.
Step 5 : Then change financial year with carry forward balances as Yes all masters.

If you have enable the user activity log feature in company, then you can check when last carry forward was done. To view this follow the below steps:
Step 1: Go to display menu and click on check list option.
Step 2: Select user activity log then select the user and date range.
Step 3: Press ok and you can check user wise activity and also can check if carry forward was done.

Here are the some simple steps a shortcut key to access the middle financial year data in BUSY  : 
Step 1: Go to last year in the BUSY using Shortcut Key F11.
Step 2: Do the Changes in the respective year 
Step 3: Change the financial year with new changes . 
Step 4: Go to administration menu and select current year . 
Step 5: Carry forward balance with new changes.
