save changes to item codes in the system then follow these steps 
1. go to the master under administration option 
2. select item 
3. then add new master
4. modify particular item 
5. make changes in item codes and save it

Step1: Open the company.
Step2: Then click company menu.
Step3: Select Edit company option.
From there you can able to Edit in the company details.
