Find Solutions to Common Issues Related to configurations - user rights
In BUSY if you want to restrict access to certain voucher series for specific users, you can use the voucher series group option. This option allows you to create a voucher series group and tag only the series that you want to show to your sub-users. To do this, follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to the Administration menu.
Step 2: Click on the Configuration option.
Step 3: Select Voucher Series Configuration, and then Voucher Series Group Option.
Step 4: Add a voucher series group by clicking on the "Add voucher series group" option.
Step 5: Tag only those series that you want to show to your sub-users.
Step 6: Open the User-ModiFinancial Year option under the Configuration menu and tag the voucher series group for that user.
Step 7: Whenever your sub-user logs in from their ID, they will only be able to work in the specified series, not all of them.
To attach your signature to your user in BUSY, you need to follow these steps :
Step 1 : Go to administration then configuration click on features and options
Step 2 : Now go to general and enable the Maintain image & signature with user option Then, define the user signature image path in the Configurations tab and save it. The signature image should be named the same as the user name in JPEG format.
Step 3 : Now in user it will show the user signatures, go to administration then user click on modify select user and see in below it show the user signature.
Step 4 : To ensure that it appears in the final output, go to administration then configuration click on Invoice and Document printing seleect standard and select voucher type and enable Print user signature and save the printing configuration.
To set up users and permissions for different access levels in BUSY, follow these steps:
1. Open BUSY and log in as the main user.
2. Go to the Administration menu and select User.
3. Click on the Add User button to create a new user.
4. Fill in the required details for the user, such as name, username, and password.
5. Assign the appropriate access level to the user, such as Administrator,Manager,or User.
6. Specify the permissions for the user by selecting the modules and features they can access.
7. Save the user profile and repeat the process for other users if needed.
Note: The main user has full access and can create, edit, and delete users. Sub-users have restricted access based on the permissions assigned to them by the main user.
To setup and manager the user and permission in BUSY, follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to the Administration section and click on the User tab.
Step 2: Select the Add option, create the user, and provide rights or permission accordingly.
To Check the available latest release and download these setup, follow these steps:
Step 1: Open the BUSY application
Step 2: Click on Company menu then select the Check BUSY update option from it.
Step 3: Now specify the path to download the update setups then click on Download updates tab. Two setup files will appear in specified path.
Step 4: Afterward, go to the location where the setup file was downloaded, and install both the product and statutory setup individually in the same folder where BUSY is installed.
Step 5: After the installation, your BUSY software will be updated.
Note: Take latest backup of your all data before upgrading.
To setup access for accountant you need create Users and to use multiple system you have to upgrade your BUSY model in Multiuser if using single user If you want to Create Multiple user to login BUSY in one system only just for give access then you can follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to administration and click on User option .
Step 2: Now click on Add option enter the name and password
step 3: Now check the User menu rights on right side and tick on the option and expand by click on Plus sign and give rights as per your requirement
Note: You can also use other option by enabling and disable for user as per requirement.
Step 3: Now save the User and they can login with their User name and by follow same steps you can create multiple user.
Reasons for not showing the certain features in BUSY.
1.User rights:If you are logged in with the sub user and you do not have rights to view certain features in that case some feature would not be visible to you.
2.Lower BUSY model:If you are using lower model of BUSY like basic there would be many features which are not visible to you.
To resolve this problem follow below given steps
Step 1:Login company with the super user credentials and Go to adiministration menu.
Step 2:Then select users option and then select modify from it.
Step 3:Navigate to the right hand side you will find menu rights option.
Step 4:In the menu rights option you can give the rights to the user for view list of accounts.
Step 5:Lastly click on save button to save the user configuration.
Defining Roles and Access Rights to User is Very Important as reduces the Risk in Business.
In Order to Confugure User Roles and Access Rights in BUSY follow below Steps.
Step 1: Click on Administration
Step 2: Click on Users
Step 3: Click on Add for New User / Modify for Excisting User
Step 4: Select User from the List in Case of Modification is Excisting User (Step 4 is no required in Case of Addition of New User
Step 5: Specify required Roles and Permission in User Configuration, Menu Rights and User Controls
Step 6: Click on Save

In BUSY, there are two types of users: the super user and the sub user.
1.The super user is the first user created and possesses overall rights within the company.
2.Sub users that will create after the super user, have restricted permissions which can be configured in the user master settings.
To Customize invoice template, follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to Administration section, then click on Configuration option.
Step 2: Select Invoice/Document Printing and choose the Advance option.
Step 3: Select the required voucher type and then click on Add format option to create new format.
Step 4: Now, Click on the newly created format then configure the header, body and footer through HTML coding.

To create a new user or change your Admin password in BUSY below are the steps to follow:-
Step 1: Go to the Administration option then select User and click Add. Define the username,
password, and provide rights by specifying tick or untick in front of the options under Menu rights.
Step 2: You can provide access to rights by specifying (Y) and restrict rights by specifying (N) to the
user under the User control menu and save the changes.
Step 3: To change the Admin User Password you have to go to the Administration menu then select
User and click on the Modify option select admin user and open it.
Step 4: Update the new password there, once in front of the Password option and another in the
recheck password option save the changes then from the next login it will get effect.
The process of giving access to different branches for certain teams, you need to create users for that team and map branches to users. Follow these steps to map a branch to a user and set the permissions:
Step 1: Open your company with Super / Admin User.
Step 2: Go to Administration tab and click on Users.
Step 3: Here, you can Add new users or Modify the existing users.
Step 4: On User page set Y on "Specify Branch for this User" and select the branch from dropdown list and set other permissions as required and save.
Step 5: When you set up Data Synchronization for a branch in the Head Office, you can also choose the rights for Data Creation / Modification.
