How do I access the engine in BUSY to show reports to the salesman?
If you want to set up Saleman in BUSY, you can follow these steps:
Step 1: Open BUSY and select the company you want to work with. Then, go to the Administration tab and click on Configuration.
Step 2: Under Configurations, select Features / Options and then click on the Accounts tab. Here, you will find the "Salesman / Broker-wise Reporting" option. Just click on the checkbox to turn it on and configure it as per the requirements.
Step 3: Now go to Administration tab and click on Masters. Select Salesman and click on Add to create to create salesman master.
Now, you can mention saleman name while generating invoices and track their performances.
What kind of details can I pull into the Account Category field?
Account Category is a sub-group of Account. On the basis of which you can filter the reports. By enabling this option, a Caption data field will appear where you can specify the caption by which Account Category data field will appear in Account Master. Like, if you have specified Category as Caption then Category data field will appear in Account Master where you can specify the name of category and later on view reports by applying filter of Account Category. For Example, you can categorize Debtors under different categories (zone wise) such as : North Debtors, East Debtors, etc. and can view reports by applying filter of Account Category.
Where can I find the settings for updating stock balances automatically?
Clause 44 in GST refers to the provisions related to the e-invoicing system as per the Goods and Services Tax (GST) regulations in India. It mandates certain businesses to generate and issue invoices electronically through the GSTN.
Clause 44 asks the auditors to report the total expenditure debited to the profit or loss account during the year and provide a break-up of this expenditure as per their GST transactions.
It requires reporting of the total amount of expenditure incurred during the previous year i.e. revenue expenditure as well as capital expenditure.

While creating A party ledger there is only to mention one state and address, how do they enter multiple addresses and locations in one party ledger?
If you wants to mention more then one address and state in party master,there is an option is to maintain in multiple alias in BUSY,To enable this feature you can follow given Steps:
Step 1:Go To the Administration menu,
Step 2:Click Configuration,
Step 3:Click Features and Options,
Step 4:Click Accounts tab,
Step 5:Here is an option is to Maintain Multiple Account Aliases,enable this fetaure then click configuration,check the check box Specify Different Address Details with Multiple Alias,save this configuration.
Step 5:After that,Go to party Master,After enter party name window will appears,in this window,you can mention here multiple addresses,state,pincode and other details which you wants, and save this master.
I am getting an error when trying to reconcile my bank statement in BUSY. What could be causing this error?
When you are getting while reconciling the bank statement in BUSY.
Pls follow the below steps :
Step 1: Make sure that the entries which has been enter properly in the BUSY.
Step 2: After data backup, run the update master balance from housekeeping.
Step 2: Ensure that the entries has been properly clear by F4 in BUSY as per the bank statement.
Step 3: In bank reconciliation report, check in the short range then you will get a particular date from which mismatch is coming then correct the entry.

How can I ensure that my ledger updates are properly recorded in the software?
To check ledger updates are properly recorded in the software,please follow below steps :
Step 1: Go to the Administration tab and click on configuration.
Step 2: Under Configurations, select Features / Options and then click on the Accounts tab. Here, you will find the Ledger Reconciliation option. Just click on the checkbox to turn it on.
Step 3: To open your ledger, press ALT+L and choose the account ledger that you want to reconcile.
Step 4: Enter the date range for the reconciliation and select Y for Enable Reconciliation.
Step 5: In the report, you can press F4 to reconcile each entry. You can also add remarks if needed.
I need help understanding how to use the accounting software to record payments that will be made at a later date. What is the process for this?
If the payment will made at later date then you can use the PDC feature in the BUSY. This feature allow you enter that the later date or future date entry voucher.
Pls follow the below steps for enabling the PDC feature.
Step 1: Click on Administration
Step 2: Then Configuration
Step 3: Then Features and Options
Step 4: Then Accounts
Step 5: Enable post dated cheques and payment in the payment and receipt voucher.
Step 6: Go to pass the payment voucher, there you will get a seperate date option where you can enter the later date and save the voucher by entering the required details.
How do I set up and manage automatic bank feeds in BUSY?How do I reconcile my bank account in BUSY?
To manage bank feeds you have to enter Payement,Receipt, journal and contra vouhcer and to reconcile bank entries you need to follow some steps:
Step 1: Go to Administratin and then click on Configuration.
Step 2: Now click on Feature and Option and then click on Accounts Option.
Step 3: Now tick on Back Reconciliation option and save the configuration.
Step 4: Now Go to the Display and then click on Bank Reconciliation report
Step 5: Now click on Show Uncleared entries report and select Bank account the time period and click on OK Option.
Step 6: Now click F4 to clear entries and check Reconciliation Statement report in bank reconciliation report.
Where can I find the option to configure cheque format in BUSY?
If you want to configure the cheque format in BUSY, you can follow these steps:
Step 1: First, you need to enable the cheque printing feature by going to the Administration tab on the top menu bar and clicking on Configurations.
Step 2: Under Configurations, select Features / Options and then click on the Accounts tab. Here, you will find the Cheque Printing option. Just click on the checkbox to turn it on.
Step 3: After enabling it, go back to the Configurations tab and click on Cheque Printing. This will open a window where you can add and configure your cheque format as per your cheque size and layout.
I need help properly setting up and recording depreciation for my fixed assets in BUSY. What is the right way to do this?
For setting up proper recording of depriciation for fixed asset in BUSY you need to follow
the steps
1 go to administration menu and click on master and click item then click to add
2 fill the fixed asset name and tag specify purchase account with same fixed asset account
ledger where the fixed asset account ledgers group must be fixed asset
3 set the depriciation rate on account ledger and save
4 go to display menu and click on depriciation chart and select the form of depriciation
5 then select the depriciation to be charged account name from list and press F4 to
post depriciation voucher
