How can I customize the invoice template in BUSY? I want to add my company logo and change the layout.I want to set up multiple companies in BUSY. How can I do this?How can I customize the sales summary report in BUSY to include net sales figures instead of gross sales?
BUSY offers two options for customizing invoices and documents: Standard and Advanced. Let’s explore each option in detail. Please make sure to take latest backup of your data before make any changes.
For Standard format follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to Administration and click on configuration tab.
Step 2: Click on Invoice / Document Printing and choose Standard.
Step 3: Choose the voucher type such as sale, purchase, etc that you want to customize.
Step 4: For each field, select Y yes or N no depending on whether you want it to appear in the printout.
Step 5: Standard format layout in A4 paper
For Advanced format follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to Administration and click on configuration tab.
Step 2: Click on Invoice / Document Printing and choose Advanced.
Step 3: After selecting the voucher type that you want to customize for example, sale or purchase, etc, you will see the name of your format below it.
Step 4: Clicking on the format name will allow you to customize different parts of the printing format, such as the header, body, & footer etc.
Step 5: In advance format we have give layouts such as A5, slip 3 inch, slip 4 inch. further you can also customize it as per your paper layout.
With BUSY, you can customize your invoice and documents with your company’s logo to reflect your branding.
Steps for add logo in Standard format:
Step 1: Go to Administration and click on configuration tab.
Step 2: Click on Invoice / Document Printing and choose Standard.
Step 3: Choose the voucher type (such as sale, purchase, etc. in that you want to add logo.
Step 4: Enable the Print Logo option by selecting Y, Browse and select the image file that contains your logo. Make sure that the image file is in JPEG format.
Step 5: Adjust the height and width of the image according to your preference. Choose the position of the logo on the invoice, you can select from Top Left, Top Right, or Top Centre options.
Steps for add logo in Advanced format:
Step 1: Go to Administration and click on configuration tab.
Step 2: Click on Invoice / Document Printing and choose Advanced.
Step 3: After selecting the voucher type in that you want to add logo for example, sale or purchase, etc, you will see the name of your format below it.
Step 4: Clicking on the format name will allow you to add logo in header & footer parts.
Step 5: Now, you can select Image field by press on Print Styles button or press F4.
Step 6: Metnion your image file path that contains your logo. Make sure that the image file is in JPEG format. And mention the height and width of the image according to your preference.
If you wants to see the nett sales of your company, you can follow below steps:
Step 1: Go to Display, then Sales Analysis option.
Step 2: In Sales analysis, Click on Party-wise, Standard- Date/ Voucher -wise and check the nett sales in report.
