The software is showing an error when I try to finalize or print an invoice. How can I fix this?

If you are encountering an error message while attempting to print a voucher in the BUSY, you can follow the steps below to resolve the issue.
Step 1: Begin by taking a backup and then running a reindex of the databases. To do this, open the BUSY software, go to the company menu, select the backup data option, and take backup then click on reindex data bases. Choose the company that is experiencing the issue, and then run the reindexing process for all financial years individually.
Step 2: If the issue persists after running the reindexing process, try clicking on Hardware configuration. To do this, follow the steps below:
- Go to the Administration tab
- Click on configuration
- Click on Hardware configuration
If you are unable to click on Hardware configuration and the same error message appears, it means that the printer is not connected properly. If you are able to open it but the printer name is not showing, it indicates that the printer is not installed or registered with the system properly. In this case, it is recommended to contact a hardware specialist to properly install and register the printer with the system.
