The HSN codes are not showing properly in the exported GST reports. How can I resolve this?

It is possible that the HSN codes were not updated properly in the Item Master, which is why the changes are not reflecting in the exported GST reports. 
To update HSN codes in BUSY, follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to the Administration section and click on Masters.
Step 2: Select the item and open it either from the Modify or List option.
Step 3: Select the item master for the item whose code you want to update.
Step 4: Update the HSN code manually and save the item master then export GST report with updated HSN codes.
Note: Ensure to take the latest backup of data before initiating any process.

I see a difference between the GST liability amount shown in the GST portal versus in the BUSY software. What could be the reason?

If you are seeing a difference between the GST liability amount shown in the GST portal 
versus in the BUSY that means you have not adjusted GST input and Output properly
follow the steps to resolve the issue
1 Go to display menu and click on gst reports
2 click on GST summaries then click on GST summary
3 select the period and ok
4 after opening the gst summary report click F4 to adjust gst one by one
first adjust input output adjustment then click on cross adjustment then on RCM to regular
tax adjustment and passout the jouranl vouchers create by BUSY automatically
5 after all adjustment then BUSY will show you the correct tax liablity

I am unable to change a sale from BB to BC even after updating the customer details. Can you help me troubleshoot this?

Please follow below steps if you are unable to change B2B transaction to B2C:
Step 1: Make sure you have selected type of dealer as UN-Registered in party master
Step 2: If using billing/shipping details option in voucher ensure that gst report basis is as per party master or as per billing/shipping details
Step 3: If it is selected as billing/shipping details it means gst report will generate according to the billing/shipping window
Step 4: If it is selected as as per party master it means gst report will generate according to the party master specified by you in voucher
Step 5: Make sure all the details specified in voucher in all the fields is accurate

I am unable to locate the GST A register in the GST Returns menu. What steps should I follow to access this?

To locate the GST 2A register in the GST Returns menu, the GSTR 2A report is located in the GST register. For this, you need to follow the below steps:
Step 1: Go to Display, then select GST Reports.
Step 2: then select GST Registers, then select GSTR-2A Register, then select party-wise or voucher-wise, then select the from and to month, and then select the relevant information and load the report by pressing F2 or OK.
Step 3: Before this, make sure you have downloaded the GSTR2A data from Transactions, then select GST Misc. Utilities, then select Download GSTR JSON Data, then select Download GSTR-2A, and click on month-wise in the automatic option to download the data.

I want to record provisions for GST liability if I have not paid GST in the same month. How can I do this in BUSY?

In BUSY software, you can record provisions for GST liability if you haven't paid the GST in the same month. Here are the steps to do this:
Step 1: If you haven't already, create a separate provision account for GST liability.
Step 2: Create Provision account .
Step 3: Go to the Journal Voucher or Journal Entry section in BUSY.
Step 4: Debit your GST Liability Provision account with the amount you want to provision for.
Step 5: Credit a suitable account
Step 6:This could be an expense account or a Provision for Expenses account
Step 7: Save the journal entry and post it. Step 8 :This records the provision for GST liability in your accounts.

I want to add special sections like Section , file inviolable, ITP in the purchase voucher. How can I do this configuration in BUSY?

Step 3: In the tax category master, you can update the tax percentage as per the government regulation in the changes in tax rates option. In this, you can update according to your update date.
