Step 1 : Open SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) as an administrator.
Step 2 : Log in to SQL Server using Windows Authentication.
Step 3 : In SSMS, find and expand the Security section under SQL Server, then select Logins.
Step 4 : Now Expand the logins, right-click on the SA user, and choose Properties.
Step 5 : Under the Status option, find 'Login is lockout' and uncheck this option.
Step 6 : Go to the General section, and reset the password for the SA user.
