The cash ledger shows a negative value when you enter a bill because the expenses recorded in the bill exceed the available cash balance. This indicates that the cash flow is negative, meaning more money is being spent than received.

For checking vendor or Party wise Sale/Purchase. We can check Sales and purchase Register for a particular party or qroup. for checking the same follow below steps
Step 1:- Display
Step 2:- Account Books
Step 3:- Account Registers (Standard) 
Step 4:- Sales Register

If you are using the basic version of BUSY so you will not be able to add some fields.
 If you are using the standard version or enterprise version of BUSY so you can add some fields through custom columns.

To check previous month data you can check ledger 
Step 1: Go to display then account books
Step 2: select ledger option with all account 
Step 3: Now mention starting and ending date as per previous month then open report .

To view the receipt voucher report, follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to display section then click on acocunt books.
Step 2: Choose account register standard then click on receipt register option.
Step 3: Specify the date range and then open the report.

You can analyze your outward supply in BUSY by using various sales reports, such as Sales Registers, Sales Analysis Party wise & Item wise, Inventory Sales Register. You can select any of these report options and view your sales data.

A bill made in 2022 does not reflect in the 2023 ledger in BUSY because it is not carried forward to the next financial year automatically. It needs to be manually entered in the ledger for the next financial year.

You can check sales report in Display menu, please follow below steps:
Step 1: Go to the Display menu
Step 2: Selct Account Books
Step 3: Select Accounting Register(standard) option
Step 4: Select Sales register
Step 5: Specify date range and click on OK button

To check the combined ledger of two account masters follow the below steps:
Step 1: Go to display > Accounts Book > Ledger > Merge Ledger 
Step 2: Select Option Account Group or Selected Accounts
Step 3: Enter period & check report

To track your business expenses in BUSY you can do expense booking entry through journal,payment and purchase voucher etc
and you can check various report of expenses like income & expenditure account,Profit & loss account purchase,ledger,journal register and payment register etc.
