How does making entries out of chronological order affect my account balances and reports in BUSY
Making entries out of chronological order can affect your account balances and reports in BUSY. This is because the software relies on the chronological order of transactions to calculate accurate balances and generate reports. If entries are made out of order, it can lead to incorrect balances and inaccurate reports. It is important to enter transactions in the correct chronological order to ensure the integrity of your account balances and reports.
How can I view my invoice details in BUSY? I cannot see the invoice I generated.
To view invoice details in BUSY that is already generated by you follow this:
Step 1: Go to transactions menu
Step 2: Then click on invoice such as sale,purchase etc
Step 3: Then open it from modify or list option
Step 4: Then you can view the invoices
Step 5: You can also view various invoices reports from display menu such as sale register,sales analysis etc
How to apply filters in the accounting software to view specific transactions like cash deposits
To apply filter on any report in BUSY, you can do the following:
Step 1: Open the report in which you want to apply filter.
Step 2: Click on the Filter button or press F7 on your keyboard. This will open the Filter screen.
Step 3: Select Field from the dropdown list of Filter on Field on which you want to apply filter.
Step 4: You can also apply Single Filter or Multiple Filter.
Unable to open specific ledger or transactions in BUSY. What could be the reason?
If you are unable to open specific ledger or transaction in BUSY then follow the below steps:
Note : Take latest backup of the data
Step 1: Check ledger in short range like month wise
Step 2: When you are found particular date then open day book
Step 3: Then check entries in that particular date and resave the voucher
Step 4: Then check ledger or transaction
Where can I check the status of bills paid, pending, cancelled etc in BUSY?
In BUSY, if you are using bill by bill feature then you can see the Purchase Register to check the status of bills.
To check this follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to Display menu and click on Account Books.
Step 2: Select Account Registers ( Standard) then select Purchase Register.
Step 3: Enter the date range and set Y on Show Payment / Receipt Details.
This report will show the bill status and cancelled invoices.
How can I filter and send all sales data between two dates via email?
To filter and send all sales data between two dates via email, you can use the Sales Register report and apply the date filter. Then, export the report in Excel format and attach it to an email to send it.for that go to :
Step 1 : CLick on display
Step 2 : Account books
Step 3 : Account register
Step 4 : Sales register
Step 5 : Select date range
Step 6 : Sent via email.
How to view total Sale / Purchase GST for each item in BUSY?
If you want to view total Sale / Purchase Gst amount of each item in BUSY, you can follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to Display and can select either Sales Analysis or Purchase Analysis.
Step 2: Select Item-wise and then Standard-Date / Voucher - wise.
Step 3: When you open the report set Y on Show Value of Items? and Show GST Amt.?
Now, the report display you item-wise sales and GST amount also.
My sales and purchase registers are displaying incorrect values after making changes in the local GST bill sundry. How can I correct this?
When you do the changes in the local GST bill sundry then do the below steps.
Step 1: Open the voucher, then remove the gst bill sundry from F9 and re enter it again in the voucher for reflecting the changes.
Step 2: Then run regenerate dual voucher from housekeeping by selecting the none for filter voucher on the basis.
Note : Do this process after the data backup.
I am not able to see my bill in ledger, One bill is missing. How can I solve this?
To view ledger bills in a report, you can follow these steps to resolve the issue:
Step 1: Ensure you have specified a date range within which the bill is present.
Step 2: Verify that the bill amount is not zero.
Step 3: Make sure you have entered the correct party name.
Step 4: Ensure you have not canceled or deleted the bill.
Step 5: If the issue persists, contact customer support for further assistance.
how to check the details of cancelled invoice in BUSY?
To check the details of cancelled invoice, you may follow the below mentioned steps :
Step 1: Go to Display menu and select Checklist oprion.
Step 2: Click on voucher numbering reports then you can select the option of cancelled voucher numbers.
Step 3: Select the voucher type with required opion for which you want to open the report. Open the report and can check the details of cancelled invoice.
