Are there any backup procedures I need to follow before making changes in the BUSY?

Yes, it is recommended to take backup of your data before making any changes in BUSY for taking backup below are the steps to follow:-
Step 1: Open the BUSY and click on the backup data option under the company menu.
Step 2: Then select the company in which want to take backup and define User Id and password if required and browse the location where you want to take backup.
Step 3: Select the Financial year Either All financial year or Individual financial year and click on Ok button. The backup will save in the defined location.
Step 4: Alternatively we recommand to use BUSY Agent through which your backup will save on Local and Google Drive on a particular time period.
Step 5: For Using BUSY Agent You can download it from www.busy.in and Install it where BUSY is being Installed.
Step 6: Then In the General Configuration define the location from where you are accessing the data and Click on Save button.
Step 7: Click on Local back up configuration option and configure the company, time and location where you want to save backup.
Step 8: For saving backup data in Google Drive click on Google drive configuration button and configure the company, time and define the Email Id and authenticate it.
