What should I do if there is an opening balance in the current year for the account to be merged?
If you are not in the begining financial year of company and have some opening balance in source account then you can not merge that account into another account. You need to split the current financial year for merging it.
Note: Take backup of your data before making any changes.
BUSY crashed while I was working on an important file. How can I recover my work?
If your BUSY crashed while you were working on an important file, to recover your BUSY, take a data backup and re-index the data. If this is done successfully, your work will recover; if not, you have to send the data to the RND team to recover the data.
How can I resolve the issue where a previous voucher is inserted in manual vouchers?
To resolve the issue,please follow below steps:
Step 1: where a previous voucher is inserted in manual vouchers in BUSY , you can regenerate the dual voucher under from House keeping menu
Step 2:This will completely regenerate the voucher and show the actual figure in the final results report.
How do I ensure that the parameters are the same in both the source and target items before merging?
To ensure that the parameters are the same in both the source and target items before merging in BUSY, you need to check parameter wise stock report of them from the display menu. However you can merge items if parameter feature in enabled in the source item.
Why is the Bulk Voucher Creation / Modification option is not recommended to use in BUSY?
In BUSY, you can use Bulk Voucher Creation / Modification option to modify your vouchers in bulk. This process is not recommend because in this process you need to select all the single fields used in the vouchers otherwise the data in that field will be removed.
What should I do if my masters is not merging properly when using a client system?
If you are not able to merge masters properly from a client system, you need to check these steps:
Step 1: Might be the networking between the server and client system is not stable or working properly.
Step 2: You should check the same process on the server system.
What is the arrow below party data manually in the receipt entry section? Do I need to click on it manually or will the details come automatically?
When you want to add receipts in bulk from Bulk Receipts utility and click on down arrow without tick on the option Enter Party Data Manually then details will auto pick. But if you tick on that option then you need to enter party details manually.
Why is the process of modifying ITC details so manual in BUSY? Are there bulk editing tools available?
If you want to modify the input tax credit in the pruchase voucher then you can either manually edit in some voucher. If there are multiple vouchers then you can correct it through excel import or bulk voucher creation and modification option after the data backup.
