How do I set the credit limit for a specific party?
To set a credit limit for a specific party in BUSY, you need to follow these steps :
Step 1 : Go to the Administration then click on Configurations
Step 2 : Then Features/Options go to Accounts tab and enable the credit limits feature and click on save button.
Step 3 : Then go to administration then masters then account
Step 4 : Click on modify mode open account and select the party and set the credit limit as required as Y with credit limit amount.
Why am I unable to customize the reports in BUSY?
If you are unable to customize the reports in BUSY Accounitng Software,it would be several reasons,you can check these things:
Step 1:If you are using a Basic model of BUSY Accouting software so you cant customize your reports in this model,because the customization of report option is not available in Basic Version.
Step 2:And,if you are a sub user, it may be you dont have rights to customize the report then you can login as admin user and give rights to sub user.
How can I manage user permissions in BUSY?
To Add Users and set permission in BUSY, follow these steps:
Step 1: Open your company with Super / Admin user.
Step 2: Go to the Administration tab.
Step 3: Select on Users option and click on the Add button.
Step 4: Type the User Name, Password and Recheck Password for the new user.
Step 5: Assign the rights and permissions for the new user according to your needs and preferences.
Step 6: Click on the Save button to create the new user.
What is the message I will receive if I do not have the rights to delete an entry in BUSY?
If you receive a message that you do not have the rights to delete an entry in BUSY. It because the limitation of user rights which cannot delete a voucher. If want user right to delete voucher, you need to follow these steps :
Step 1 : Go to administration then users.
Step 2 : Click on modify mode and go to menu rights
Step 3 : Then tick on delete option to give rights to delete entry in BUSY and click on save button.
In BUSY, why is the option to modify a bill not visible? How can I access and use it?
If the modify option is not showing in the voucher then check the below steps.
Step 1: Make sure that to open the company from admin user as might be sub user have no access to modify the voucher.
Step 1: Click on Administration
Step 2: Then Users
Step 3: Then Modify
Step 4: Select the Uset and Give the modification rights to the voucher.On Top Right, Expand Menu Option can give rights to the user for which transaction can modify it.
How can I ensure that the user accounts are properly named and organized for each user?
To create or ensure that the user accounts are properly taaged, please follow below steps:
Step 1: Open your company with Super / Admin user.
Step 2: Go to the Administration tab.
Step 3: Select on Users option and click on the Add button.
Step 4: Type the User Name, Password and Recheck Password for the new user.
Step 5: Assign the rights and permissions for the new user according to your needs and preferences.
Step 6: Click on the Save button to create the new user.

Why are certain options not visible in BUSY, and how to access them?
If some features are not shown in BUSY change BUSY model becuase features with different models of BUSY. Please find below mention steps for change BUSY model:-

Note:- If your version is lower then the above model of BUSY will run in demo mode like If you have Basic model of BUSY then standard Model run in demo mode. For upgrade please contact to our authorized dealer. It will done on chargable basis
Why am I unable to cancel an invoice as a sub-user in BUSY?
If you are a sub user and you cant be able to cancel invoice from BUSY Accounitng Software,it may be several reasons:
1:If you are a sub user it may be you dont have rights to cancel the invoice.
2:Login as admin user,Go to the Administration menu,click user,Open the user in modify mode,Go menu rights,Please check in the transaction to see if you have been given the right to cancel it or not.
3:Give rights then check it again.
How can I enable PO as optional field for a voucher series?
To enable PO as optional field for a voucher series, you need to follow these steps :
Step 1 : Go to Administration then Configuration, and select Voucher Series Configuration.
Step 3 : Choose the voucher type and voucher series in which you want to enable PO as optional field and then go to Voucher Configuration.
Step 4 : Add an optional field for PO number and save the configuration.
Step 5 : The PO number field will now be available in the voucher.
Why is the BUSY not allowing me to record a payment voucher?
If you are unable to post payment voucher that means the company is loggin with subuser credentials with restriction for payment entry. To remove such restriction follow these steps:
Step 1: Login the company with admin username and password.
Step 2: Go to administration section then click on user
Step 3: Click on modify and select the required user name
Step 4: In menu right, expand the transaction then expand payment option and tick on add tab .
Step 5: After provide rights, save the user master.
