In BUSY, can import it Item Opening balances from Excel.
Pls Follow the Below Steps:
Step 1: Administration
Step 2: Data Export Import
Step 3: Import Masters from Excel
Step 4: Items
Step 5: Select the Import Option - Modify Existing masters
Step 6: Select the required field and excel column in which that field is specified.
Step 7: Select the excel sheet path and then import it. 
Note : Do this process after Data Backup.

To map the Excel columns to the right fields in BUSY when importing, please follow these steps: 
Step 1: Open your company, then go to Administration 
Step 2: Under Administration, select Data Export Import. 
Step 3: Under Data Export Import, select Import Master from MS Excel. 
Step 4: Select the field in BUSY and specify the Excel column, and click on the right arrow symbol to map it.

You can import the multiple items through excel in BUSY from the below steps.
Pls Follow the Below Steps for Excel Import :
Step 1: Take the backup of your company
Step 2: Click on administration and then data export import
Step 3: Then Import masters from excel and configure the format of data field as per excel column
Step 4: Specify the excel data sheet & Import it.

If you are facing issue while import account master data from excel, then you need to check these troubleshooting steps:
Step 1: Make sure all the fields are correctly maped with the excel sheet.
Step 2: Ensure that excel file path, starting & ending row, sheet number are correct.
Step 3: If facing issue in opening balance then check you have selected correct opening amount field.

To copy account names into Excel, export the account master list in excels or just copy the account master name and paste in excel.
Method 1
To export account master list
Step1: Go administration menu.
Step2: Select the master and click on account 
Step3: Then click on list, open the account list and export in excel. 
Point2: And also copy paste account master back in BUSY.

To retrieve data given by a third party and run it in BUSY Accounting software, you can import the data through Excel by following these steps: Administration > Data Export Import > Import Vouchers from Excel > Select Voucher Type > Create Format > Configure Format of data field as per Excel column > Specify the Excel data sheet & Import it.

If you are experiencing incorrect account numbers after importing data from QuickBooks into BUSY, you can fix this issue by manually editing the account numbers in BUSY. You will need to go to:
 Step 1 : Click on administration
 Step 2 : Masters
 Step 3 : Accounts
 Step 4 : Modify
 Step 5 : Change the incorrect account numbers manually and save

If the Tax category is not importing while import item master from excel in BUSY, then you need to check these steps:
Step 1: Check you have selected correct field with correct excel column.
Step 2: Ensure that the tax category name mentioned in the excel sheet should be same as in BUSY. You can copy from BUSY and paste into excel sheet.

To export an item master list with alias to an excel sheet, follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to Administration and click on Master.
Step 2: Click on Item and open list of item master.
Step 3: Alias field is already added in the default format.
Step 4: Choose Export option or press ALT+E shortcut key and select data format Microsoft Excel.
