Find the below steps for importing data from another software
Step 1: For importing data from another software, we need to get all data in excel first. 
Step 2: Create a company with same fiancial year in BUSY.
Step 3: Go to Administration
Step 4: Data Export Import
Step 5: Import voucher/Master from excel.
Step 6: We need to configure excel structure in BUSY. By selecting each and every data column.

To export reports from BUSY to Excel, follow the necessary steps.
Step 1: View the report [any report, whichever you want from BUSY]
Step 2: In the right-hand corner, you can have the option to export. Also, you can press the shortcut key Alt+E.
Step 3: Select the data format "Microsoft Excel."
Step 4: Also, you can have the option "Google Sheet."
Step 5: Specify the export file path.
Step 6: OK

BUSY supports data import from excel sheet, XML, and Tally XML formats. There is no specific restriction for importing data from excel sheet into BUSY. However, when you import XML data from another company, you need to ensure that both companies have the same configuration. Also, when you import data from Tally and the data size is large, you need to import it in parts.

You can import data from an excel sheet into BUSY, such as vouchers or masters. You need to fill in the sheet with the details you want to import and specify the sheet path, number, and row range in BUSY.
 You can also import data from other company through XML, so you need to just mention the XML file path and can import into BUSY.

If you are unable to export report in excel from BUSY then check the following reasons:
 1. BUSY and Ms office must be installed in same drive .
 2. Ms office should be installed properly on license version.
 3. While export the report from BUSY, define file path properly.
 4. If 97 version error display while export report then check by repair you MS office

BUSY allow transfer of data from other applications. PleaseFollow Below Steps:
 Step 1: Administration
 Step 2: Data Export Import
 Step 3: Import Vouchers from Excel
 Step 4: Select Voucher Type 
 Step 5: Create Format 
 Step 6: Configure Format of data field as per excel column
 Step 7: Specify the Excel data sheet & Import it.
 Note :- Do Process After Data Backup

If you are facing issue while importing vouchers from excel into BUSY, then you need to check these troubleshooting steps:
Step 1: Check all the fields are correctly configured in the format as per the excel sheet.
Step 2: Ensure that the excel file path, sheet number, starting and ending row are specified correctly.
Step 3: Run BUSY as an administrator mode to avoid any compatibility issue.

The Excel file exported from BUSY may not work on another system due to compatibility issues or differences in software versions of excel. It is recommended to check the Excel settings and ensure that both systems have compatible versions of Excel installed.
 Note:If still faces the same problem then you can consult to your IT person who install excel in the other system.

to resolved issue in tax calculation while import vouchers from excel follow these steps
1. while import voucher from excel make sure you tax % is proper or correct in excel 
2. also select correct field in BUSY to import tax amount in excel
3. make sure if you select sales type as multi rate then you need to select correct bill sundry in voucer importing.

In BUSY, You can export your report in excel by follow these steps:
 Step 1: Open you required Report in BUSY
 Step 2: Now Press ALT+E shortcut key to give command for export 
 Step 3: Then select the data format Microsoft excel and provide file path for excel file.
 Step 4: Press on OK tab, your file will export in specified file path.
