You can follow the below steps to take backup of company in BUSY :
 Step 1: Open the BUSY software 
 Step 2: Click on company menu
 Step 3: Then select the backup data option
 Step 3: Next, select the company for which you want to take backup and mention the login credentials if have
 Step 4: Specify the path for backup 
 Step 5: Start the backup process and let it complete.
 Step 6: Afterward , you can update the BUSY softeware

These tasks you should perform periodically in BUSY to keep it running smoothly:
1. Keep updated your BUSY with the latest version.
2. Take backup regularely to avoid loss of data. You can use BUSY Agent application which allow you to take backup on local and Googl drives.
3. Run Reindex Database from the housekeeping menu to remove any junk characters in the data.
4. Run Update Master Balances from the housekeeping menu to keep updated your balances.
Note: Take backup of your data before running any process.

These are the following steps to be taken before importing data in BUSY:
 Step 1: Open BUSY software
 Step 2: Go to company Menu
 Step 3: Click on Bcakup Data
 Step 4: Select company and login it with user name and password 
 Step 5: Specify the path in which you want to take backup then select ALL or SINGLE Financial and press OK butoon for start backup 
 Step 6: After successful backup, you can proceed to import data in BUSY

To restore backup from google drive in BUSY then follow below steps:
Step 1: Open your google drive and download required backup folder in your system 
Step 2: Then open BUSY software and then go to company menu
Step 3: Now click on restore data option and mention the backuped data path on the required field 
Step 4: Then click on OK and select Yes and after completing the process a confirmation message will display on the screen, now you can view the restored company.

Once a data is delete it can not be revert back in BUSY. If you have any previous backup before deletion we can restore data. To restore data follow below steps:
Step 1: Open BUSY and select "Restore Data" option from Company tab.
Step 2: Choose the folder that contains backup files and click on OK button to start the restoring process.
Step 3: If same data already exist in then BUSY will provide you an option to override it. You can chosse Yes/No as required.

If you want to reinstall your BUSY and want to retain your data for safety purpose you can take a backup of your data by following these steps:
Step 1: Open your BUSY software
Step 2: Then click on backup data
Step 3: Select the company for the backup
Step 4: Then specify the username and password if required 
Step 5: Then specify the path where you want to take a backup
Step 6: Then click on ok button to proceed for the backup of your data

Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue:
Step 1: If there are any issues with the backup files, it might result in problems during the restoration process.
Step 2: Verify that you are restoring the backups correctly. 
Step 3: Check the compatibility of the database versions between the backup and the system where you are trying to restore the data
Step 4: Check the file permissions for the restored data
Step 5: Ensure that there is sufficient disk space on the system

To take backup of your data from BUSY follow these steps:
 Step 1: Open BUSY and select "Backup Data" option from Company tab.
 Step 2: choose the company that you want to backup.
 Step 3: Enter your username and password if required and select the location where you want to save your backup file.
 Step 4: Select the financial year that you want to backup, either All F.Y. or Selected F.Y. and click on the OK button to start the backup process.

To take a backup of your company by using a super user and password in BUSY, you need to follow the steps: 
Step 1: Open BUSY then select backup data option. 
Step 2: Then select the company which you want to take backup and enter the super user id and password.
Step 3: Specify the path where you want to take backup and select either all financial year or any single financial year.
Step 4: Press ok to proceed and check after complete it.

To prevent data theft or loss of business, you need to follow the below option:
1. Take regular data backups for BUSY users from the BUSY daily backup option, BUSY Agent, and you can also take manual data backups.
2. Enable audit trail in BUSY to check the data activity to secure the data.
3. Enable the user activity log to check the user's activity to secure data.
4. Give limited rights to the user to check the limited activity of data to put confidential data.
