The reason why it is taking so long to take a backup in BUSY could be due to the size of the data being backed up or the speed of the computer.
Their might be also one reason is that you are taking backup on client system and the networking is slow.(In case of multiuser license)

I can't see some of my company data. How do I restore it?

To restore your company data, you can use the "Restore Data" option in the BUSY, follow the below given steps for restoring data:
Step 1: Click on Company menu and then select Restore Data.
Step 2: Give the backup data path
Step 3: Click on Ok or Press F2
Step 4: A popup will appear to overwrite Select No.

How do I take a backup of data before making any changes?

For taking backup before make changes from BUSY follow these steps:
Step 1:From Company menu select the option " Backup Data"
Step 2:Select the desire company of which you want to take backup.
Step 3:Select the path where you want to keep your backup.

Step 1: Go to Administration and click on Configuration.
Step 2: Select Backup Configuration and here you can change the backup path day wise.
You can also change the backup location in the backup window.

If you are using BUSY Agent then you can change the backup path under the Backup Configuration(Local).

The software is not letting me close company without taking a backup. How do I make backup optional instead of enforced at the time of closing company?

If you want to disable the enforced option of backup at the time of closing the company, follow these steps.
Step 1. Go to Administration, then click on Configuration, and select Backup Configuration.
Step 2. Press 'N' to turn off the 'Enforce Backup at the time of closing the company' option, and then save.
