You can do backup of data from BUSY as follows:
Step 1: Open BUSY then select option backup data.
Step 2: Then select company for which you want to backup.
Step 3: Then mention login credentials.
Step 4: Then select f.y single or all for which you want to backup.
Step 5: Then mention backup path & then proceed.

To prevent the backup location from getting deleted every time you take a backup in one go,follow the steps below:
Step 1: Go to administration 
Step 2: Then select configuration 
Step 3: Now select backup configuration 
Step 4: Mention path for backup then save
By mention backup path company wise it will not get deleted .

To having trouble finding the data in the backup folder. Follow the Below Steps :
Step 1: Go to the Administration and select configuration tab
Step 2: Select the backup Configuration 
Step 3: Check the Local backup data path folder. 
Step 4: Copy that folder path and paste into computer search bar to check data backup.

When we take backup from backup configuration in the BUSY then it will be in that folder for lifetime. If we take backup from the BUSY Agent, there is a option for retain backup days for the Local Drive and Google Drive in backup schedule option which we can set as per the requirement.

To restore your company in BUSY with the same voucher numbers as before, you need to follow these steps :
Step 1: Go to company menu and click on restore data
Step 2: Now select the backup file and restore it with overwrite option as NO.
Step 3: In company list new company will appear use it.

To restore a particular mid-year company in BUSY if i have a backup then follow below steps:
Step1: Open BUSY software and go to company menu
Step2: Then click on restore data option and specify path of the backup data and press OK
Step3: After that the company will be restored and you can view the data.

To set the data directory for restoring data file in BUSY then follow below steps:
Step 1: Go to company menu and then restore data submenu
Step 2: Now click on set data directory option and specify data path by browsing and select ok
Step 3: Then click ok and then yes in window for data restoration.

To take the backup of BUSY data, follow these steps:
Step 1: Open BUSY then click on company menu.
Step 2: Choose the backup data option then select required company
Step 3: Mention the company admin username and password and click on ok tab
Step 4: Specify the path for backup and click on ok to take backup.

To take backup of data in BUSY, follow these steps:

Step 2: Select the company of which you want to take backup and enter the login credentials.
Step 3: Select the backup path and you can select All financial year then click on Ok.
