How to backup and restore BUSY data? Where to get BUSY technical and troubleshooting support?

 We can take a backup and restore it from the Company menu.
Follow the steps given below for data backup:-
Step 1:- Go to Company menu
Step 2:- Backup data
Step 3:- Select company
Step 4:- Mention user name and password of company
Step 5:- Sepecify path for backup
Step 6:- Select financial year for backup(Single or All).
Follow the steps below to restore the backup:-
Step 1:- Go to company menu
Step 2:- Restore data
Step 3:- Mention path for restoration
Step 4:- Click ok
If the same company is already exist in the list of company then it will ask to overwrite the backup data over the existing data. Select as per requirement (Yes or No)

Should I take a backup before making changes related to GST in BUSY?.

 Yes, it is recommended to take a backup before making any changes related to GST in BUSY. This will ensure that your data is protected in case any issues arise during the process. 
In BUSY have two backup option Manual and Auto by BUSY Agent tool.
Step 1: BUSY Manual Backup we can set for 7-day daily backup that will ask you every time when you close company. that backup can set in local drive.
Step 2: If you want to set auto backup need to install BUSY Agent Tool. in this BUSY Agent Tool, we can set auto backup for every day and no. of backup in a day 3-time Max.
Step 3: In BUSY Agent backup data can be stored in Local drive, google drive.

I want to back up my company data from BUSY. What is the recommended way to do this?

 To transfer data from your existing installation to a new computer when installing BUSY, you can follow these steps:
We can take backup and restore the same from company menu.
For Backup follow the below step
Step 1:- Go to Company menu
Step 2:- Backup data
Step 3:- Select company
Step 4:- Mention user name and password of company
Step 5:- Sepecify path for backup
Step 6:- Select financial year for backup(Single or All).
For restoring backup follow the below steps
Step 1:- Go to company menu
Step 2:- Restore data
Step 3:- Mention path for restoration
Step 4:- Click ok
If same company already exits in list of company then it will ask for rewrite backup data on existing data. Select as per need (Yes or No)

How can I take the company backup in BUSY?

 To take the backup of your BUSY data please follow the below steps.
Step 1: Click on company menu and then select Backup Data option
Step 2: Now select the company for which you want to take the backup.
Step 3: Then mention the super username and password if applicable of sub username and password who is having rights to take backup for that company.
Step 4: Specify a folder path where you want to take backup of your data.
Step 5: select the required financial year you want to take the backup. If you want to take all financial year backup then choose All financial year from the dropdown of if you want to take backup of a single Financial year, you can select that particular year.
Step 6: Now press ok.

Locate data backup settings in BUSY?

 In BUSY, we have two options to take backup.
Pls Follow the Below Steps for after opening the company :
Step 1: Click on Administration
Step 2: Then Configuration
Step 3: ThenBackup Confuguration
Step 4: Specify the folder path from Monday to Sunday for Company backup
Step 5: Enable the Prompt for backup & Enforce, In Case of Prompt will ask for backup while closing the company but In case of Enforce Company will not get close without backup.
Pls Follow the Below Steps for taking backup before opening the company :
Step 1: Company Menu
Step 2: Backup Data
Step 3: Select the company for data backup
Step 4: Mention the User and Password
Step 5: Select Financial Year and specify the backup folder path.

I need to restore my software from a backup. How do I access the automatic backups your technician created?

 In BUSY, automatic backup is working in BUSY agent through which you can take backup in your local drive as well as from google drive.
1.To access the backup file from local drive.
Step 1: Open the BUSY agent then check the backup path in BUSY agent screen.
Step 2: Go to the updated location for local backup and access the required date folder which you wish to restore.
2.To access the backup file from google drive.
Step 1: Open the google drive then access the BUSY backup folder.
Step 2: Now, download the backup folder which you wish to restore.
3.To restore the backup in BUSY, follow these steps:
Step 1: Open then BUSY then click on company menu
Step 2: Choose the restore data then specify the backup path.
Step 3: Now, proceed to restore data.

Is there any option to rollback the data upload/export process in case of any issues?

 No, there is no option to roll back the data if any error show during the process of upload or export
Further, we are recommend to take latest backup before running any process and here are the steps for taking backup in BUSY
Step 1: Open BUSY software
Step 2: Go to Company Menu
Step 3: Click on Backup Data option
Step 4: Then select Company and then mention Username and password
Step 5: Specify the backup path.
Step 6: select Whether a Single or ALL Financial Year
Step 7: Click the OK button to start the backup process
Step 8: The backup may take a few minutes to complete.
Step 9: After Completing the process, a confirmation message will appear
