To retrieve data from a broken laptop, you can try the following steps:
 1. Remove the hard drive from the broken laptop.
 2. Connect the hard drive to another computer using a USB adapter or an external hard drive enclosure.
 3. Access the files and folders on the broken laptop's hard drive from the computer you connected it to.
 4. Copy and transfer the desired data to a backup location, such as an external hard drive or cloud storage.
 If you are not comfortable doing this yourself, you can seek assistance from a professional data recovery service.

If you have saved vouchers but now they are automatically getting deleted please follow these steps:
 Step 1: Make sure you have properly save those vouchers 
 Step 2: Dont give your data access to any unauthorised person whom you dont trust
 Step 3: Ensure that you are taking backup of your data on daily basis
 Step 4: Make sure audit trail feature is enabled in your company so it will help you to record your activity such as creating,modifying or deleting a invoice
 Step 5: make sure you are using latest release of BUSY software

If you have lost or deleted your BUSY data, you can try the following methods to restore it:
Method 1: Restore a backup file if you have one. You can use the Restore Data option in BUSY to restore your data from a backup file.
Method 2: Check your system’s other drives if there is any data file.
Method 3: Check your Google Drive if you have taken a backup there. You can download from there and restore in BUSY.
Method 4: If your hard disk is corrupted, contact a hardware expert to retrieve the data from the hard disk.

Here's a step-by-step guide to help you identify and resolve these issues:
 Step 1: Check User Permissions:
 Step 2: Verify Data Entry
 Step 3: When generating reports, ensure that the date range is set correctly.
 Step 4: Check for missing masters can result in incomplete reports.
 Step 5: Reindex and Rewrite the database from house keeping menu . Step 6 : Check the audit logs to see if changes were made that could affect the availability of reports, masters, or configurations.
 Step 7: If data loss occurs, you can restore from a previous backup.

Restore /Reindex Data: To restore data in BUSY follow these steps:
 Step 1: Open BUSYand select Restore Data option from Company tab.
 Step 2: Choose the folder that contains backup files and click on OK button to start the restoring process.
 Step 3: If same data already exist in then BUSY will provide you an option to override it. You can chosse Yes/No as required.
 Step 4: If shows any RTE( Run Time Error) then can check after run Reindex Database from Housekeeping tab.(Before doing that please take latest backup of your data).

There is no provision in BUSY to get deleted file.you can try to recover it from recycle bin or trash of system. If file is not there, you need to restore it from backup
To restore backup data follow the below given steps:
Step 1: Click on Company menu and then select Restore data 
Step 2: Give the backup data path
Step 3: Click on Ok or Press F2
Step 4: A popup will appear for overwrite Select No.
Note :For BUSY data we recommend you to take backup on daily basis,and restore it as per the requirement

 Step 1 : Open the BUSY on your computer.
 Step 2 :In the BUSY software, look for the option to restore data.This is usually found in the Company menu often labeled as Restore Data .
 Step 3 : In the restore data window, you have two options
 :Option 1: Copy and Paste the Path (Folder Location) If you know the exact path to the folder where your backup files are stored, simply copy the path.

If after updating new version of BUSY showing error or data showing corrupted - kinldy follow the following steps. 
 Step 1: To resolve this uninstall all BUSY update & release. 
 Step 2: Go to https://busy.in/download/ and download BUSY 21 Full latest version setup and Install. 
 Step 3: You can restore old backup or set old data path folder. 
 Step 4: Take backup of current data and run reindex on data. 
 Step 5: If still getting same error you can share error code with data file on support@busy.in

Reconciling your opening balance of Goods and Services Tax (GST) with the previous year's closing balance,Here are steps you can take
 Step 1:Check Late filings or amendments to previous returns can impact the closing balance.
 Step 2: Ensure that all eligible ITC claims were made, and that any adjustments or reversals were correctly accounted for.
