What are the system requirements for BUSY? Does it integrate with different SQL versions?
The system requirements for BUSY can vary depending on the database you are using.
For an Access database with BUSY, you can manage with a Pentium processor onwards. However, SQL requires higher configurations due to heavy data, reliability, and faster accessibility. Essentially, SQL versions demand a minimum system configuration. Before starting the SQL installation, it validates the system configuration and displays a message. If the user forcefully installs it, they may encounter issues when using the software.
For example, Windows 7 supports SQL 2008 or 2012 but does not support 2014. Similarly, Windows 10 can support SQL 2012 and 2014 as well.
Please note that when using the BUSY mobile app and BUSY on the Cloud with BUSY, we recommend adhering to the minimum system configuration requirements for both Access and SQL databases. It has to be given below
1. Operating system: Windows 8 or above
2. Processor: Intel Core i3 or equivalent
3. RAM: Min 8 GB
4. Hard disk drive: At least 100 MB of free space.
5. Screen resolution: 1366 x 768 pixels.
6. .net framwork 3.5 or above.
7. Require internet for license activation, updates & other online features such as e-way bill, e-invoice generation, Mobile app and BUSY on cloud purposes.
