I'm experiencing an issue with the software generating quarterly TCS returns. How can I file these returns on time, given the error?

If your TCS Return was working well in an older version but stopped working in the latest one, follow these steps to identify and potentially fix the problem:
Step 1: Make sure your BUSY software is up to date. Check the product release and statutory updates to see if any necessary updates are available.
Step 2: Before proceeding, ensure you back up your data for safety. Also, download and update to the latest version of BUSY. This update may include fixes and improvements.
Step 3: Go to the Print/Email/SMS section in the software.
Step 4: Under TDS/TCS Reports, choose eTCS Return. You'll see a file name and default file location, like C:\BUSYWin\Form27EQ.txt. You can leave it or change it to your preferred location. Also, select the file creation date and the relevant quarter.
Step 5: Click Print to generate the file. It will be saved in your chosen folder with a name like Form27EQ.txt.
Please note that BUSY doesn't have a direct option for uploading this file. You might need to submit it through the appropriate government portal or method.
If the issue persists, report the bug by sending an email to support@busy.in. The R&D team will work on fixing the error in a future release, but there is no specific timeline for the fix.
