What is the process for configuring royalty points in BUSY?

BUSY has as feature of royalty calculation, to configure it follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to Administration then click on Configuration.
Step 2: Select Features / Options and click on Accounts Tab.
Step 3: Tick the option called Royalty Calculation and save changes.
Step 4: Next, you need to create Author by going to Administration then Masters.
Step 5: When you create your item for roylty you need to mention Author and calculation percentage.
Step 6: After, posting vouchers you can calculate roylty by going to Display menu and click on Roylty Calculation.
Step 7: Select either One Author or All Authors and enter the date range and check the roylty amount.
Step 8: You can post Roylty Calculation voucher by press F4.

How do I record transactions for a new real estate project under my existing company in BUSY

You can manage your new real estate project in your existing company in BUSY software
Please follow the given steps for configuration
Step 1) Go on administration
Step 2) Click on configuration
Step 3) Click on feature/options
Step 4) Click on accounts
Step 5) enable cost center
Step 6) Go on administration
Step 7) Click on Masters
Step 8) Click on Cost centre
Step 9) Add cost center for the name of reas estate project
Step 10) Enable cost center in account master
Step 11) enter any transaction with this account master, it will ask for cost center in transaction
Step 12) To check reports go on Display

To configure the cost centre feature in BUSY you need to follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to administration tab then click on configuration option
Step 2: Then click on features and option button
Step 3: Then click on accounts tab
Step 4: Then enable cost centre feature and save it
Step 5: Then go to administration tab again and click on masters and select cost centre and add the cost centres
Step 6: Then after adding all of these cost centres go to the account master for which you want to maintain cost centre and enable cost centre from there as well
Step 7: Now you are eligible to do the entry of cost centre for the allocation of expenses

To check the details of reference entry and clear it then follow the steps given below:
Step 1: Go to display menu
Step 2: Click on outstanding analysis report
Step 3: Then click on Bill wise statement option
Step 4: Then specify party name, date range and click on OK button
Step 5: here you are chcek the list of vouchers with reference
To clear the references follow the below steps :
Step 1: Go to administration menu
Step 2: Click on utilities option
Step 3: Then click on Reference management option
Step 4: Then click on Clear references option
Step 5: Then click on Bill wise reference option and select accounts and clear it

How do I record a cheque I issued to a vendor in BUSY that has not yet cleared the bank?

To do the entry of that cheque that is not cleared by the bank you need to follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to administration menu
Step 2: Then click on configuration
Step 3: Then click on feature and option
Step 4: Afterwards click on acconts tab
Step 5: Afterwards tick the post dated check in payment and receipt voucher option to enable it
Step 6: Then go to transactions menu and open payment or receipt voucher as required
Step 7: Then specify type as PDC and do the entry it will be treated as post dated cheque entry
Step 8: After the clearance of entry you can regularize the entry from miscellaneous data entry option under administration menu

Why am I unable to make credit sales despite having the credit limit mentioned in the party master?

If you are unable to create credit sales of any party despite having credit limits then you can follow the below steps :
Step 1: Go to Administration and then configuration from it
Step 2: Then select warning tab
Step 3: Check the Credit limit warning
Step 4: Select the Credit Limit option with its subtype include PDC and include only cleared cheques.
Step 5: If you consider the credit limit of required party after consider PDC then tick on include PDF
Step 6: If you consider for cleared cheque only then tick on include cleared cheques only otherwise untick the same.
Step 7: Now create credit sales of party

How to enable and use bill by bill feature in BUSY.

To use the bill by bill feature in BUSY follow below steps:
Step 1: Take a latest backup of the data.
Step 2: Go to administration menu and select configuration option.
Step 3: Then select feature and option and click on account tab.
Step 4: Then tick on bill by bill feature in BUSY and click on save button.
Step 5: Then go to administration menu and select masters option.
Step 6: Under masters select account and then click on modify option and make sure to mention Y on maintain bill by bill feature.
Step 7: Now when you enter the sale bill you can create reference and while adding receipt for the bill you can adjust the reference.
