Is there a way to link my vendors and customers with a specific location?
In BUSY, you can tag locations to your vendors and customers by using the account category feature. To know how to configure it follow the below steps:
Step 1: Go to administration menu then click on configuration sub menu.
Step 2: Select features and options and click on accounts tab.
Step 3: Here, tick maintain account category option then specify the caption as required then save.
Step 4: After that open your vendor or customer account master and when you enter on group name a window will appear of tag account category.
Step 5: Press F3 to creation categories based on your location and tag in the account master then save.
How do I setup salesmen in BUSY so I can track their sales performance?
If you want to set up Saleman in BUSY, you can follow these steps:
Step 1: Open BUSY and select the company you want to work with. Then, go to the Administration tab and click on Configuration.
Step 2: Under Configurations, select Features / Options and then click on the Accounts tab. Here, you will find the "Salesman / Broker-wise Reporting" option. Just click on the checkbox to turn it on and configure it as per the requirements.
Step 3: Now go to Administration tab and click on Masters. Select Salesman and click on Add to create to create salesman master.
Now, you can mention saleman name while generating invoices.
How do I properly adjust my advance payments to vendor bills in BUSY?
In BUSY, We have Bill by Bill feature which is used to Create and Adjust the party references in the voucher. Track Accordingly from Outstanding Report that for which voucher the amount is pending from the party.
Pls Follow the Below Steps :
Step 1: Click on Administration
Step 2: Then Configuration
Step 3: Then Features and Options
Step 4: Then Account
Step 5: Enable the Bill by Bill Feature
Step 6: Open the Account Master and Enable the Bill by Bill.
Step 7: In the payment voucher, Create the reference for the party.
Step 8: When you pass the purchase voucher then adjust that reference.
How does BUSY handle budgets and comparisons to actuals?
If you want to handle budgets and comparisons to actuals then please
follow the given steps
Step 1: Go to administrtion menu then configuration then feature options
Step 2: Then select account then enable budgets option and save the
configuration.
Step 3:.Then open any master in which you have tagged group of
expense investement and fixed asset. and save, then while
save you get a window for budget configuration turn yes
then set the budget for every month.
Step 4: Then for comparisont go to display menu then select Mis reports
Step 5: Then select budget variance then all account then all heads then
select month then ok.
Where is the ledger reconciliation option located in BUSY?
To locate ledger Reconciliation option and how to use it in BUSY, you need to follow these steps:
Step 1: Open your company then, go to the Administration tab and click on configuration.
Step 2: Select Features / Options and then click on the Accounts tab.
Step 3: Enable the option called Ledger Reconciliation and save.
Step 4: To open your ledger, press ALT+L and choose the account ledger that you want to reconcile.
Step 5: Enter the date range for the reconciliation and select Y for Enable Reconciliation.
Step 6: In the report, you can press F4 to reconcile each entry. You can also add remarks if needed.
How do I set up brokers/salespeople in the system?
To set up brokers or salespeople feature in BUSY, you need to first turn it on from these steps:
Step 1:Go to Administration
Step 2:Configuration
Step 3:Feature/Options
Step 4:Accounts
Here, you can check the box next to Enable salesman/Broker-wise Reporting. And configure it as required by clicking on configure tab and select how to maintain either voucher level or item level. After done all configurations next step to add salesman/broker Master from these steps:
Step 5:Administration
Step 6:Master
Step 7:Salesman/Broker/Add.
Now you can mention saleman/broker name at the time of voucher entry. It is recommended to refer to the system's user manual and video tutorials or contact customer support for detailed instructions.
How do I set budgets for my accounts?
To set budget for your accounts follow the steps
1 go to administration menu and click on configuration
2 click on feature options and select accounts
3 enable budgets and save
4 go to administration menu and click on master then click on account and click modify
5 search the expense account name and enable budget and set the limit for yearly or monthly
on your expense account
6 then after the period end go to display menu and click on mis reports
7 click on budget variance and select all accounts then click on heads crossing budget or all heads
8 select the period and ok
What should I do if the entries in my trading history show less than expected?Can I download my trading history from BUSY as a report? What are the format options?
If the entries in trading history show less than expected you can match entry with feature ledger Reconcilation.
For use Ledger Reconcilation please follow these steps:
1. Go in Administration
2. Then Go in configuration
3. Then Go in Features/option
4. Then go in accounts tab
5. Then enable ledger reconcilation feature and save configuration
6. open sale and purchase ledger after enable reconcilation yes
7. If entry match press f4 and reconcile
Yes you can download trading history for download open Report click on export and choose format like excel,pdf and google sheet etc.
What is the difference between percentage and lump sum Brokerage/Commision in BUSY?
The difference between percentage and lump sum brokerage/commission in BUSY is as follows:
Percentage brokerage/commission: This is a brokerage or commission that is calculated as a percentage of the sales or purchase amount. For example, if the sales amount is Rs. 10,000 and the percentage brokerage is 5%, then the brokerage amount will be Rs. 500.
Lump sum brokerage/commission: This is a brokerage or commission that is a fixed amount that is added or deducted from the sales or purchase amount. For example, if the sales amount is Rs. 10,000 and the lump sum brokerage is Rs. 200, then the brokerage amount will be Rs. 200.
Some transactions show incorrect check numbers How can these be corrected
To correct transactions with incorrect check numbers, you can follow these steps:
1. Identify the transactions with incorrect check numbers.
2. Verify the correct check numbers for those transactions.
3. Access the system or platform where the transactions were recorded.
4. Locate the specific transactions and edit the check numbers.
5. Enter the correct check numbers for each transaction.
6. Save the changes to ensure the corrections are applied.
7. Double-check the updated transactions to confirm the correct check numbers are now reflected.
