To create an Account in BUSY, you can follow these steps:
Step 1: Click on the "Masters" menu
Step 2: Select "Account"
Step 3: Click on "Add" to create a new account
Step 4: Enter the necessary details such as Account name, group, and opening balance.
Step 5: Save
What are the options for applying commission at voucher level versus item level?
The options for applying commission in BUSY are voucher level and item level. At voucher level, the commission is specified in the voucher itself. At item level, the commission is set in the item master, allowing for different commission rates for each product or item.
Can i use same bill by bill reference number for the same party?
Yes, you can use the same bill by bill reference number again in the ledger if it has not been used in the current financial year. If it has been used, then it will be appended to the existing bill by bill reference number.
How do I add a custom reference number column in BUSY?
To add a custom reference number column in BUSY, you can go to the display options of the transaction list view and select the "Custom Column" button. From there, you can enter the format name and add a new column for the custom reference number.
What all features are available in the latest version of BUSY?
The latest version of BUSY includes features such as inventory management, sales, quotations, orders, e-invoicing, e-waybill generation, GST filing, payroll processing, job work functionality, and more.
Note:Some online feautres of BUSY like e invoice, e way bill, GSTR1 direct upload are under active BLS.

To activate bill by bill maintenance in BUSY, follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to administration section then click on configuration tab
Step 2: Choose features/option then select accounts tab
Step 3: Enable bill by bill then configure the same.
Step 4: After made configuration, save the accounts tab.
How do I enable all the options manually for a new company if I cannot copy the configuration from an existing company?
To enable all the options manually for a new company in BUSY Accounting software, you need to go to the Administration menu, then select Configuration, and then Features and Options. From there, you can manually enable all the required options for the new company.
What is a sub ledger in BUSY Accounting Software and how can it be used to manage different accounts?
To maintain a sub leger in the BUSY , please follow the below steps:
Step 1: Go to Administration menu.
Step 2: Select Features and Options
Step 3: Choose Accounts menu
Step 4: And Then enable maintain sub ledgers
Step 5: save the configuration.
I have pending adjustments that havent been adjusted yet. How can I adjust them?
If you have pending reference of debtor or creditor then follow thsese steps:
step 1: Go in transaction then go in Receipt if debtor pending reference or go in payment if creditor pending reference
step 2: Pass Receipt or payment voucher and adjust pending reference.
How can I change a double entry mode to a single entry mode?
If you want to change it from double entry to single entry then make sure that no transaction should be entered in double entry mode in BUSY. If the transactions exists then you will not be able to change it in single entry mode.
