I want to use multiple currencies for my transactions. How can I enable that feature?

 To enable the multi-currency feature in BUSY, you need to follow these steps :
Step 1 : Open BUSY company in which you want to enable multi currency feature
Step 2 : Go to Administration menu then click Configurations
Step 3 : Select Features and Options then click on Accounts tab
Step 4 : Now enable Multi currency feature and add currency conversion decimal places and save.
Step 5 : Now go to administration then master
Step 6 : Go to Currency add details in Currency master and conversion rate in Currency conversion
Step 7 : Now select account on modify mode and enable multi-currency option in Party Account Master
Step 8 : Go to transactions select sale type as export then select party account name and define the multi curreny as need in the voucher and enter all necessary details in voucher and click on save button.

How do I make a salesman or broker master and pay their commission separately?

 To make a salesman or broker master and pay their commission separately in BUSY, follow the steps below:
Step 1: Go to the Administration menu then click on Configuration option
Step 2: Now select Feature/options and click on Accounts tab
Step 3: Enable salesman/commission wise reporting and define caption
Step 4: Enable commission in voucher type and mention commission type in configuration
Step 5: Now go to master then salesman and Add
Step 6: Mention salesman name in mater and tag account then save
Step 7: When saving voucher salesman window will appear you can mention salesman and commission calculation
Step 8: Go to display then commission calculation
Step 9: Select date range and salesman then open report
Step 10: Press f4 to post voucher of payment of commission to salesman
Step 5: Now go to master then salesman and Add
Step 6: Mention salesman name in mater and tag account

How can I identify and fix a voucher adjustment that is causing my accounts to be out of balance?

 To identify and fix a voucher adjustment that is causing your accounts to be out of balance in BUSY, you can follow these steps:
1. Review the voucher entries: Check the voucher entries related to the adjustment and verify if any incorrect amounts or accounts have been entered.
2. Cross-check with supporting documents: Compare the voucher entries with the supporting documents, such as invoices or receipts, to ensure accuracy.
3. Reconcile account balances: Use the reconciliation feature in BUSY to compare the account balances in the software with the actual account balances outside the software. This will help identify any discrepancies.
4. Make necessary adjustments: If you find any errors or discrepancies in the voucher adjustment, make the necessary adjustments to correct them. This may involve editing or deleting the voucher entry and re-entering the correct information.

 Here are the steps for calculate Sale commission and track in BUSY:
Step 1: Go to Administration Menu
Step 2: Click on configuration
Step 3: Then click on Feature and Option
Step 4: Then click on Accounts option
Step 5: Then click on Salesman/Broker-wise Reporting feature and click on configure button
Step 6: Then configure it as per your requirement and enable Specify Default commission/brokerage option as Y
Step 7: Then save the configuration by clck on save button
Step 8: When creating a voucher, a prompt will appear for the salesman window, where you can specify the salesman and commission details.
Step 9: Then go to display menu
Step 10: Click on the Commission calculation report and view its contents.
To update the login credentials for the e-invoice portal, you may need to coordinate directly with the respective portal's support team.

The ledger type is not coming through correctly in my BUSY reports. What should I do?

 By default, BUSY does not show the ledger type in any report if you are using the sub ledger feature. However, you can add a custom column for the ledger type in the report that shows the account name. To add custom column follow these steps:
Step 1: Open the desired report that you want to add a column to.
Step 2: Click on Custom Column in the report’s header part.
Step 3: Create a Format Name and click on Add New Col, then enter the details such as heading, position, data type, etc. for the new column.
Step 4: Choose a category as Account Master and mention the Account Col. field then click on Fields.
Step 5: Select the field of TYPE OF LEDGER and save.
Step 5: Reopen the report with the format name that you created. You will see your new column.

 To enable Multi Currency feature in BUSY. follow the steps given below:
Step 1 : Go to Administration, then Configuration, then Features / Options. Click on Accounts
Step 2 : Enable the Multi Currency feature and specify the Currency Con Decimal Places and Save
Step 3 : Go to Administration, then Masters, Add the Alternate Currency ($, £ and € are added by default)
Step 4 : Go to Administration, Open Account Masters and enable Multi Currency option in required masters,
Step 5 : Go to Transactions, Add the Vouchers, Multi Currency window appears in the header, Specify the currency details
(This window does not appear if user select the item wise Sales & Purchase Type in Dual Voucher)
Step 6 : Go to Display, then Accounts Books, then Accounts Legder, Click on Account-Wise, Select the MultiCurrency option to view the report.

How do I enter invoices for different states for the same party?

 You can enter invoices for different states for the same party in BUSY with the help of the multiple alias feature.
Please follow the steps below for enable Multiple Aliases feature:
Step 1: Go to administration menu and click on configuration.
Step 2: Select Features and options and then click on Account Tab.
Step 3: Tick on maintain multiple account aliases option and click on configure tab then tick on specify different address details with multiple alias and save the configuration.
Step 4: Go back to administration tab and click on Masters tab.
Step 5: Click on Accounts and then click on add or modify option.
Step 6: After pressing enter on alias field then one window will appear for multiple aliases window to enter separate address with multiple aliases of a party and then on same window you can enter different address of a party.

How do I enable cheque printing in BUSY?

 If you want to enable cheque printing in BUSY, you can follow these steps:
Step 1: Open BUSY and select the company you want to work with. Then, go to the Administration tab and click on configuration.
Step 2: Under Configurations, select Features / Options and then click on the Accounts tab. Here, you will find the Cheque Printing option. Just click on the checkbox to turn it on.
Step 3: After enabling it, go back to the Configurations tab and click on Cheque Printing. This will open a window where you can add and configure your cheque format as per your cheque size and layout.
