To Record Stock Transfer between Branches one have to perform tasks in multiple stages.
A) Configure Series in Both the Branches
B) Add Stock Transfer Voucher in that Series
Here we consider that Series in Branches have already been configured.
B) To Add Stock Transfer in BUSY follow below Steps.
Step 1: Click on Transactions
Step 2: Click on Stock Transfer
Step 3: Click on Add
Step 4: Select the Series in which one wants to add the Transaction, here one should use the Series of Branch from where one wants to Transfer
Step 5: Feed Date
Step 6: Feed Vch No (If Voucher Numbering is Manual else it will come automatic)
Step 7: Select Material Centre of From Branch
Step 8: Select Material Centre of To Branch
Step 9: Feed Other Required Details like Item, Quanity, Amt etc
Step 10 : Click on Save
If you want to transfer data from Head Office to newly created Branch after all the necessary configurations done and set up connection, you can follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to Administration and click on Data Export Import.
Step 2: Choose "Bulk Data Updation to BO" and select either Master or Transaction as the data type you want to transfer.
Step 3: If you choose Master, select the specific Master for sync, such as Account, Item, etc. Then click on the branch name that you want to send the data to and press OK.
Step 4: If you choose Transaction, select the branch name from the dropdown list and enter the Start Date and End Date. Then select the voucher type, such as Sales, Purchase, etc. and press OK.
Step 5: In the branch office, you can receive the data under the "Exchange Data with HO" tab in the Data Export Import menu.
Intercompany transactions are transactions that occur between two or more companies that belong to the same corporate group. BUSY Enterprise edition allows you to handle intercompany transactions by using the Multi Branch feature.
Step 1: Go to Administration and click on configuration.
Step 2: Select Features / Options and click on Enterprises Features.
Step 3: Set Y on Enable Multi Branch Details and click on Branch Details.
Step 4: Click on Add Branch Master and enter the Branch name and can create Voucher Series Group , User & Material Center.
Step 5: Enter all other the necessary details such as address, GST details, etc and save.
Step 6: Now, if you want to work in other branch then login with respected branch user and can record enteries for transfers from one branch to another.

To link Branch Office (BO) with a Head Office (HO) and set up port forwarding follow these steps
make sure that you have created branches, series and users in both offices.
1. In branch office go to the configuration under administration menu
2. select feature and options
3. then select enterprise features tab
4. click on HO/BO data sync option and enable it
5. select Branch office
6. then mentioned correct server information from Head office
7. then select company code, branch name /alias and username for login
9. then read head office configuration
10.also check status of existing data
11.check connection
process of port forwarding is given below
1. login with your router mentioned user name and password.
2. find port forwrding option
3. add new port forwarding rules
4. mentioned port no 1433, protocol, IP address and local port
5. then save changes and check port open or close .
If you want to create seperate accounts for branches, then you can use Master Series Group feature. To configure that can follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to Administration and click on configuration.
Step 2: Select Features / Options and click on Enterprises Features.
Step 3: Set Y on "Enable Master Series Groups" and click on Configuration and tick on Account and save.
Step 4: Now, when you create Account Master there will be a windo apprear for Tag Master Series Group. Press F3 to create a new Group and save that master.
Step 5: Open your Branch Configuration and set Y on Tag Master Series Group and choose that group which you have created and save that configuration.
Step 6: In user also you have to tag that group.
Now, only the accounts that are tagged under that group will be shown in that branch.
