For best practices in data synchronization between HO and BO in BUSY, please follow the given steps
Step 1 Go on administration
Step 2 Click on configuration
Step 3 Click on feature options
Step 4 Click on Enterprise features
Step 5 Enable multibranch details and click on BRANCH DETAILS
Step 6 Click on ADD BRANCH MASTER and create branch from here
Step 7 Enable HO BO data sync. then select Head office and click on configuration
Step 8 Select here branch then enable data sync for this branch
Step 9 Set here data synchronization rights and configuration
Step 10 After this setting, do read HO configuration from branch company
Synchronizing speed depend on the data size and internet connectivity at both location HO and BO, internet connectivity should be proper and stable during data synchronizing
Connectivity between locations and IP addresses of servers?
To the proper synchronization data in HO and BO, you should check the Stable internet, ports and firewal setting in the system
Please follow the given steps
Step 1 First check internet must be proper and stable in HO and BO
Step 2 Then check port number 1433 must be open on static ip in HO, you can use the website name "Can you see me"
Step 3 Go on control panel then window firewall setting
Step 4 Click on advanced setting and create inbound and outbound rule for the port number 1433
Step 5 Create above Inbound and outboud rule in firewall in HO and BO both location
Step 6 After that open BUSY at BO
Step 7 Click on set server information
Step 8 Mention there server static ip, user and password of server sql
Manual sync triggering, logs, and server IP updates?
If you want to synchronize your data between Head office and branch office through manually trigger then follow the given steps
Step 1 Go on administration in Branch company
Step 2 Click on configuration
Step 3 Click on feature options
Step 4 Click on Enterprise features
Step 5 On the last option click on configuration
Step 6 Select here NOT REQUIRED with enable auto data sync. option
Step 7 After that go on administration
Step 8 Click on data export import
Step 9 Click on exchange data with HO
Step 10 From here you can synchronize data with HO through manualy trigger
If any changes happen in server system IP address, then you have to enable port 1433 on the new static ip and mention same static ip in branch configuration in BO company

6. Generate reports to view branch-wise petty cash transactions and balances.

How do I configure auto-sync for data synchronization between systems?
To configure auto sync for Data Synchronization between Head Office (HO) and Branch Office (BO), you need to follow these steps:
Step 1: Open Branch company and go to Administration and click on configuration.
Step 2: Select Features / Options and click on Enterprises Features.
Step 3: Then, on "Enable HO / BO Data Sync." option click on Configurartion.
Step 4: Here, you will see an option called “Enable Auto Data Sync”. Select either Ask or Enforce, depending on your preference.
Step 5: Now, you can choose when you want the data to sync automatically. You have three options: Company Login, Company Close, or Periodic. If you pick Periodic, you need to enter the number of minutes for the sync interval.
Step 6: Save all the settings and your data will sync automatically as per your choice.
How do I handle data syncing issues between different parts of the system?
To handle data syncing issues between different systems, please check the options below:
1: Cross check the Multi branch configuration in HO from Enterprises features under Features/Options and then check the tagging of the tagged series in the branch.
2: Check the data sync process after checking the server information from Ho/Bo data sync configuration option in the branch company.
3: Check the data sync process after checking the connection with the HO/BO through Chec connection option of HO/BO data sync configuration.
4 : Check data sync process after read head office configuration and existing data status from data sync from HO/BO data sunc configuration of branch
5: Port 1433 must be open on static IP
6: Make sure no data exists in Explorer
Make sure you have the latest backup of both your companies HO and BO.
How do I set up a static IP address for the BUSY server to ensure stable connections?
For configuring static ip you need to contact ISP(Internet service provider) and then can
configure. Also follow below steps for port settings after configurations.
Step1. Check the static ip is connecting to the client machine or not.
for checking it you can type static ip of HO in BO's run command. By typing
e.g. Ping (Static IP) -t . If it connects then data will sync with HO.
Step 2.Check open port status: Here you need to check port status from google chrome.
1433 port should open in your static ip.
Step 3. Ensure that the network connection between the head office and branch office is
stable and reliable, with sufficient bandwidth to handle the data synchronization.
Step 4. Can create inbount and outbound rules in the firewall of HO and BO.
How do I transfer opening balances to a new branch in BUSY?
If you want to transfer opening balances to a new branch of accounts & items, you can follow these steps: Take latest backup of your data before make any changes.
Step 1: For Accounts open that account master in modify mode and ensure that "Maintain Branchwise Op. Bals." option is Y.
Step 2: Then a window appear of "Branch-wise Opening Balance" and enter your Branch name and their Balance.
Step 3: For Items open that item master in modify mode and after enter that combined Op. Stock(Qty) a window will appear of "Material Centre Wise Opening Stock Details".
Step 4: Here, you can select the Material Centre which is tagged to that branch and enter that Qty and Amount.
Please note that Opening Balance and Related Entries can be changed only in the Beginning F.Y.

How can I configure multiple branches after upgrading to the enterprise version?
After upgrading Enterprise version you can enable the feature of multibranch and here are the steps :
Step 1: Go to Administration Menu
Step 2: Click on Configuration Option
Step 3: Then click on Feature and Options
Step 4: Then click Enterprise Feature
Step 5: Enable Multibranch detail as Y
Step 6: Then click on Branch detail option
Step 7: Then click on ADD Branch Master Box and create a name for the branch. Additionally, enable the voucher series group, user and MC as Y
Step 8: Then save the Branch wise company details by click on save button
Step 9: Then save the Enterprise feature window as well
Step 10: Afterward Your multibranch has been created and configured
