What is the job work and how can i enable job work in BUSY?
Job Work refers to outsourcing of manufacturing work. Basically, job work process involves giving raw material to an outside firm or person for applying specialized skills on it and making it into a finished product.Job Work can either be In House or Out House. In House Job work implies when you are taking order for job work i.e., you are doing job work for other parties. Out House Job Work refers to giving material to other parties for job work. In BUSY, we have catered to both the options.
To configure job work feature in BUSY, follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to administration menu and select configuration option.
Step 2: Then select feature and option and then click on inventory tab.
Step 3: In inventory tab enable job work and configure it as outside or in house job work.
Step 4: Make sure to tick on mention job id option.
Step 5: Go to transaction option and then select material issue or receipt voucher to add the transaction.
How to bring job work stock valuation along with regular stock valuation?
The Stock Valuation method is utilized to determine the value of the closing stock.
In BUSY , multiple valuation methods are available for this purpose.These methods include FIFO, LIFO, Last Purchase, Last Quantity In, Last Sale, Self Evaluation, Weighted Average, Average Price (Quantity In), Average Price (Invoice), and more. You can select the valuation as per the requirement.
