If you want previous item price will pick automatically on new order in BUSY, you need to follow these steps:
Step 1: Open your company then go to Administration.
Step 2: Select Configuration and click on Features / Options.
Step 3: Select Inventory tab and click on Item Pricing Mode in Vouchers or press ALT+M.
Step 4: Click on Show Party's Last Prices in Sales / Purchase Vouchers and save changes.
Note: Take backup of your data before making any changes.
I need help understanding how to setup tax on MRP calculation in BUSY. What should I refer?
To calculate Tax on MRP , you need to follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to administration then masters and select tax category.
Step 2: Click on modify then select tax category
Step 2: In tax category enable tax on mrp.
Step 3: Then mention percentage of mrp in which tax will be calculated.
Step 4: Save the master and use in item master.
By following these steps, you can configure tax on mrp for GST calculation in BUSY .
Q: Why is the warehouse or material center not visible in my voucher entry ?
The reasons why the warehouse or material center is not visible in your configuration settings in BUSY because you have not enabled the feature for multiple godowns/inventory. To enable multigodown follow the steps below:
Step 1: Go to administration then configuration
Step 2: Then select features option and click on inventory option
Step 3: Enable multigodown inventory then save
Step 4: Now go to administration then masters
Step 5: Click on material center then add and create new material center

Your production manager can create a list of materials needed from the store by following these steps:
Step 1: Administration
Step 2: Configuration
Step 3: Features and Options
Step 4: Inventory
Step 5: Enable the Manufacturing Option

Step 7: Specify the Finished Good - Item to Produce Option

3. Click on the "Newbutton to create a new item group.
4. Enter the name of the group and select the brand for which you want to create the group.
5. Save the changes.

The stock status value calculated on the basis of stock valuation method.
You can check the stock valuation method for the stock by following these steps:
Step 1: Go to administration menu then click on configuration submenu
Step 2: Then click on features and options button
Step 3: Now click on inventory tab
Step 4: You will see stock valuation method at the top right
Step 5: You can select it as weighted average,fifo and lifo etc and save the changes

I want the software to pull in the last entered price for an item if no price is specified. How can I set that up?
If you want pull last item price automatically on new vouchers in BUSY, you need to follow these steps:
Step 1: Open your company then go to Administration.
Step 2: Select Configuration and click on Features / Options.
Step 3: Select Inventory tab and click on Item Pricing Mode in Vouchers or press ALT+M.

I am not able to apply discount percentage on the item MRP in the billing voucher in BUSY. How can I do this?
To apply a discount to the MRP, see the following steps:
Step 1 Go to Administration and click on Configuration.
Step 2 Select the feature option tab, then select inventory.
Step 3 Enable the option. Item Wise Discount as Compound Discount
Step 4 Create a new compound discount from the master misc. master discount structure.
Step 5 Click on Add and select the percentage item MRP.
Step 6 Tag the discount structure in the voucher security configuration.
Step 7 Save the configuration.
How can I configure the software to show the previous rate charged to a customer when creating a new sales invoice for them?
To show the previous rate charges in sales invoice at new sales invoice entry, follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to administration then click on configuration menu
Step 2: Choose the features and option then select inventory tab
Step 3: Tick on show last transaction during sales and save the configuration.
Step 4: After configuration, create the sales entry and specify the item details. A window in which the last transaction will appear with the item and its price.
