Batch Wise Feature is used moslty for pharmaceutical with their Manufacturing & Expiry Date.
Pls Follow the Below Steps:
Step 1: Administration
Step 2: Configuration
Step 3: Features and Options
Step 4: Inventory
Step 5: Enable the Batch wise feature then Select the Date format for Manufacturing and Expiry.
Step 6: Tick on Maintain Sales price
Step 7: Enable the Batch wise feature from Item Master.
Step 8: During Purchase voucher entry, Batch wise window will popup in item then mention the batch details & adjust that batch in Sales.
Step 9: Can check report in Display under Batch wise details.

To maintain serial numbers for the items in BUSY, You should follow below steps:
Step 1: Go in administration.
Step 2: Then select configuration.
Step 3: Click on feature/options.
Step 4: Then select inventory feature.
Step 5: Enable the feature of serail No wise details.
Step 6: Then define the given configurations as per your requirement.
Step 7: Save the configurations.
Step 8: Then go in item master enable serial no wise details options.
Step 9: Maintain serial no manual or automatic as per given configuration.
Step 10: Save and proceed.
Note: In Basic/Blue model of BUSY this feature will not work.

You should follow below steps to generate a single barcode for an item with multiple variations ( sizes, colours, etc.)
Step 1: Go in administration.
Step 2: Select configuration option.
Step 3: Then click on features/options.
Step 4: Select inventory feature.
Step 5: Enable the option of parameterized details.
Step 6: Then specify the required field e,g. specify the no. of paramteres which maximum can be 3.
Step 7: Then enable generate barcode no e,g continuous or manual also can define the barcode structure.
Step 8: Then create barcode for an item while purchaseing or as opening stock.
Is it possible to include weight parameters while totaling quantities in BUSY Accounting Software?
Yes, it is possible to include weight parameters while totaling quantities in BUSY,to enable parameter details please follow below steps:
Step 1: Go to the Administration tab and click on configuration.
Step 2: Select Inventory tab, here you will see multiple feature that can manage your inventory as per your business need.
Step 3: You can enable or disable various inventory features such as Manufacturing Features, Alternate Unit of items, Batch-wise Details, Serial No.-wise Details, Parameterized Details, etc.
Step 4: You can select the features that suit your needs and set them up accordingly.
How do I create and apply schemes like buy-one-get-one-free in BUSY?
For apply scheme buy 1 get one free please follow these steps:
1. Go in Administration then go in configuration
2. Then Go in Feature/option then go in inventory tab
3. Then Enable scheme feature
4. Then go in administration then go in master
5. Then go in scheme and click on add
6. Mention scheme name and date range
7. Then select voucher detail and select series
8. click on individual item and click on item wise
9. Mention bill item name ,quantity and free item name and quantity
10. Mention zero in price and save configuration
How do I add a new vendor or customer in BUSY?
To add a new vendor or customer in BUSY, follow these steps: 1. Open BUSY. 2. Go to the Masters menu. 3. Modify the Item Master 4. Click on the select vendor master button . 5. Fill in the required vendor name 6. Save the information by clicking on the Save button or pressing Ctrl+S. 7. The new vendor or customer will now be added to the list. Note: Make sure to provide accurate and complete information while adding a new vendor or customer to ensure proper record-keeping and communication.
How can I search for items based on their serial number?
Here is a step-by-step solution To track inventory using serial numbers in BUSY,
Step 1 : If you want more detailed information about a particular serial number's history, you can use the Query system:
Go to the Display menu in BUSY.Look for the Query option, which may be labeled as Query System or something similar.Choose the Item Serial No. query .
Step 2 : Enter the serial number you want to query in the designated field.
Execute the query to retrieve detailed information about the serial number's history, including all associated transactions and documents.
