To view Profit and loss at the item level you need to follow the steps 
1 go to display menu and click on Mis reports 
2 then click on profitability reports 
3 select item wise then select all vouchers and all items and set date range

To generate a profit and loss report for a specific date range in BUSY, go to the Display menu and select Profit and Loss. Then, click on the Customize button and select the desired date range. Finally, click on the Generate button to generate the report.

If you want to see profit and loss report in BUSY please follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to display menu then click on final results submenu
Step 2: After that click on profit and loss account
Step 3: Specify the date range and then open the report accordingly

To check turnover or total gross revenue in BUSY follow the below steps:
 Step 1: Go to Display then click on Final result
 Step 2: Click on profit and loss then select Horizontal standard
 Step 3: Open the report after specify Date and check the report.

The data shows in the charts of accounts as per the transactions has been entered in the BUSY. You cannot edit directly from the any charts like assess, liabilities etc.When you do the changes in the transaction that data will show according in the ledger.

Yes, differences between GST and balance sheet sales can cause lower profits in BUSY. 
 yes this is one of the reasosn but many other reason also possible. so check all other detail 
 like closing stock value and exp and income value etc.

To resolve the on enter mismatch amount issue in profit and loss report, follow these steps:
Step 1: Take the latest backup of the data.
Step 2: Go to housekeeping section then click on update master balance.
Step 3: Click on Ok tab and complete the process.

You can view the profit and loss account report from the below steps.
 Step 1: Click on Display
 Step 2: Then Final Results
 Step 3: Then Profit and Loss Account
 Step 4: Can view it either horizontally or vertically as per your requirement.

To generate profit and loss report from BUSY, we need to follow :
 Step 1 : Click on display
 Step 2 : Final results
 Step 3 : Profit and loss account
 Step 4 : Select date range
 Step 5 : Open report

Yes, the net profit will be carried forward to the next financial year automatically in BUSY. But it is not recommended, you should transfer the net profit into the proprietor capital's account before carry forward the balance to the next financial year.
