I am unable to find the email option in my BUSY dashboard. How can I enable it?
If you are unable to find the email option in BUSY then please follow the steps to find or configure the email option
Step 1. Open BUSY software then you will get an pop -up window for security checking. In this pop-up you will
know the model of BUSY. If your BUSY model is basic model then there is no provision for email configuration.
Step 2. Then upgrade your basic model to standard or enterprise model. For upgrade your BUSY model then i am
transferrring your call to support executive. They will assist you accordingly.
Step 3. If your BUSY model is standard or enterprise then open company for which you want to configure
email settings.
Step 4. Then Go to Administration
Step 5. Then Click on Configuration
Step 6. Then Click on Email Configuration.
Step 7: Now in the email configuratoin choose the Email Sending Options and select Send Directly.
Step 8. Now select Sending Report as PDF Attachment and proceed to enter the server configuration.
If you are using a Gmail account, the server name for your Gmail account is smtp.gmail.com.
Now mention the server details, user name and password in email configuration.
Server name as smtp.gmail.com
username for the email configuration will be your Gmail email address.
Password will be your gmail app specific password which you can generate from your Gmail account.
To generate an app-specific password you should log in to your Gmail account.
Step 9. After logging into your Gmail account you need to click on the Gmail account logo and then click on
Manage Account services.
Step 10. After that click on the security tab located on the right side panel of your Gmail account
Step 11. Then enable two step factor authentication within the security section
Step 12. Now use the search bar in your Gmail account to search for App Password.
Step 13. Now Define the App name as BUSY and click on generate password
Step 14. Once the password is generated copy it and paste it into the password field in BUSY.
Step 15. Leave the port option as 0 or you can click on default port button.
Step 16. Enter the sender information in the From field as your name
Step 17. In the Reply To option make sure to specify the same Gmail account.
Step 18. In the next box for the Email Header you can include the lines as per your requirements
Step 19. In the next box for the Footer you can include the lines as per your need.
Step 20. If you don't want to remember CC and BCC accounts check the box that says Do not remember CC
and BCC.
Step 21. After configuring your email settings save the configuration and then click on Test Account Settings.
If you receive a popup indicating that the email was sent successfully your configuration is working correctly.
