To upgrade your older version of BUSY and migrate your data to the latest version, you can follow these Steps:
Step 1 : Take a backup of your data from the older version.
Step 2 : Download and install the latest version of BUSY from the official website.
Step 3 : Open the latest version of BUSY and go to the "File" menu.
Step 4 : Select the "Restore" option and choose the backup file from the older version.
Step 5 : Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the data migration process.
Step 6 : Once the migration is complete, you can start using the latest version of BUSY with your existing data.
Please note that it is always recommended to take a backup of your data before upgrading to ensure the safety of your information.

Step 4: Either download Full Setup & Product and Statutory Updates
Step 5: Install it in which BUSY is already installed.
In BUSY, Can import data through Excel from Other Software.

Step 3: Import Vouchers from Excel
Step 4: Select Voucher Type 
Step 5: Create Format 
Step 6: Configure Format of data field as per excel column
Step 7: Specify the Excel data sheet & Import it.
Note :- Do Process After Data Backup

If you are facing problem while installing BUSY, you can try these troubleshooting steps:
 Step 1: Make sure you have downloaded the correct setup of BUSY from our official website www.busy.in. 
 Step 2: Make sure you have enough space available on your system drive where you want to install BUSY.
 Step 3: Make sure you have closed any existing instance of BUSY( If already installed) that is running on your system. You can check the task manager and end any BUSY process that is active. 
 Step 4: If you encounter any error during the installation, try to disable your antivirus software temporarily. Some antivirus software may block or interfere with the installation process. You can enable your antivirus software again after the installation is complete.

To uninstall and reinstall the software correctly, please make sure BUSY software or BUSY agent is not open in backend and then you can follow these Steps : 
Step 1: Go to the Control Panel on your computer. 
Step 2: Click on "Programs" or "Programs and Features. 
Step 3: Find the BUSY software to uninstall from the list of installed programs. 
Step 4: Select the software and click on the "Uninstall" or "Remove" button. 
Step 5: Follow the prompts to complete the uninstallation process. 
Step 6: After uninstalling, restart your computer. 
Step 7: Download the latest version of the software from the official website www.busy.in
Step 8: Run the downloaded setup file and follow the installation instructions. 
Step 9: Connect your BUSY license accordingly and reopen BUSY.

In case you wants to upgrade your system from window 7 to windows 11,you must follow these steps
1.Take backup of BUSY data in which you are working
2. Keep your data seprately in another system or any another drive
3. You can also upload your data backup on google drive through BUSY agent
4. When all data has been copied properly,then you can proceed to upgrade your window upgrdae,as it may led to data loss.
5. After upgardation,you have to reinstall BUSY and set licence file in BUSYwin folder and set data or restore data for which backup was taken and check your data
6. In case you dont change HDD but format or window upgrade,then you dont need to regeister softlock in BUSY,just keep licence file in BUSYwin folder

To upgrade from BUSY 17 to BUSY 21 you have to follow the steps 
Step1 If you are using BUSY softlock license then download the Upgrade 
file provided in your mail from BUSY or dealer and copy then paste it 
under BUSYwin folder 
Step2 then download BUSY 21 latest release from BUSY portal and install 
the same in old path 
Step3 then restart BUSY 
Step4 If you are using BUSY dongle license then Install the latest BUSY 21 
release from BUSY website and install it on old BUSY path 
Step5 Open BUSY and go to license management option 
Step6 click on Upgrade BUSY for dongle only option 
Step7 set the upgrade patch file path provided by BUSY and click on Upgrade 
Step8 restart BUSY

If you are unable to get a shortcut icon of BUSY 
on your desktop and keep showing as a generic shortcut Icon then you 
need to follow the steps 
Step1 Go To windows search Option and search BUSY 
Step2 Right click on BUSY logo and click open file location
Step3 Click right mouse on BUSY logo and click properties to check whwere 
it actually installed 
Step4 then open the installation path and right click on BUSY exe and send 
to desktop create shortcut 
B If BUSY logo not showing in desktop their might be uninstalled BUSY from 
System for that you need to follow the steps 
Step1 Go to www.busy.in website 
Step2 Download BUSY Latest Release
Step3 Follow the installation wizard and Install BUSY

To take a printout of the generated invoice in BUSY, you can follow these steps:
 Step 1: Open the BUSY on your computer.
 Step 2: Go to the Invoices or Sales section.
 Step 3: Click on the invoice to open it.
 Step 4: Now select the print option and click on option for print invoice 
 Step 5: Now select the format of bill to print and select the printer and give command for print.
 
 To download and install BUSY, you can visit the official website of BUSY that is busy.in and click on the download section and select the BUSY version and click on download option after download follow the instructions provided for installing the software.
