When you update BUSY setup then you have to install steup of new updates in same place/location in which location BUSY is already installed because all the files of the entire setup should be in one place.
Please check the steps below :
Step 1: Take backup of your data ( copy data folder and paste or save as a backup)
Step 2: Press right click on BUSY icon and then click on properties and the check installed location of BUSY 
Step 3; Unistall new update from Programs and Features of control panel
Step 4: You have to again Install in the same location where BUSY is already installed and then check.

BUSY from time to time launches its new release as per the changes made by govt or some featurable changes. To install new release on your system, please folow below steps:
Step 1: Lauch BUSY and click on Check BUSY updates option
Step 2: It will show the latest release available, you can download the release setup from this option
Step 3: Specify path and Click downlaod
Step 4: Close all instance and related file programs of BUSY
Step 5: Lach installation of release setup at the same path where BUSY hasbeen installed
Step 6: After successfully installation, open BUSY
Step 7: Before open company, we would recommend to keep backup of your DATA

If you want to update the BUSY to the latest version please follow these steps:
Step 1: Take a latest backup of your current data
Step 2: Then Open your BUSY software 
Step 3: Then click on check BUSY updates option available under company menu
Step 4: After that click on download updates and then click on yes button 
Step 5: Now setup is successfully downloaded 
Step 6: Now go to desktop and you will see the two setup named product and stat release
Step 7: Install both setup in the same drive and folder where your BUSY is installed
Step 8: After installing both setup your BUSY will successfully get updated

 If you are unable to update latest release of BUSY then please
 follow the provided steps.
 Step 1: Go to option Check BUSY updates in company option and enter.
 Step 2: Then select tab Download updates. Two setup will be downloaded on your
 Desktop.
 Step 3: Then install the setup one by one.
 Step 4: After succefully installation your BUSY has updated.
 Note : Make sure before installation of setup, your BUSY is close properly and 
 installation data path must be same as where you have install your BUSY.

 By following these steps, you should be able to install updates for BUSY successfully.

Before updating the BUSY, we recommend to take backup of your data. To take backup of your data, you need to follow these steps:
Step 1: Open BUSY and select Backup Data option from Company tab.
Step 2: Choose the company that you want to backup.
Step 3: Enter your username and password if required and select the location where you want to save your backup file.
Step 4: Select the financial year that you want to backup, either All F.Y. or Selected F.Y. and click on the OK button to start the backup process.
It is important to check your data and transactions in BUSY after updating the software.

Firstly we have to Identify whether it is coming while donwloading or installation.
We have to ensure these points, if we face issue while downlaoding
1. Check yout internet is stable and connected to the system
2. Disable the antivirus or firewall temporarily and then downlaod the updates
3. Make sure the drive location you have mentioned must have the space for the same.

1. Make sure no other instances of BUSY is opened.
2. Make sure there should be appropriate space in the drive 
3. We should install in the same in which BUSY is installed.

Yes you can update to the latest version of BUSY but only if your BLS is active

 Step 3 : then check the drive in which is BUSY is installed through BUSY properties

If you are not able to open the BUSY software then pls follow the below steps :
 Step 1: Make sure BUSY is properly installed in the system.
 Step 2: Set the compatibility on BUSY icon, do right click then go to the properties then compatibility and tick on option to run program in compatibility mode and run as administrator.
 Step 3: Open the BUSYwin folder in which BUSY is installed then click on BUSY icon, if still not get open then after the data backup remove and reinstall it and if get open then create the new BUSY shortcut on desktop.
