How can i update the item details in item from stock status report?

To update the item details within stock status report, follow these steps:
Step 1: Click on Display section and then select the Stock Status Report.
Step 2: Now click on Closing stock alphabetical balance only or other one as per your requirement and select option for MC and Item.
Step 3: Now mention the date range and then enable other option there as per your requirement and click on OK option and check stock.
Step 4: Click on required item master and press Alt+m to open the master in modify mode then you can update the required details.

How do I check stock/inventory reports? Are there inventory reports available?

If you want to see the Stock/Inventory Reports, follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to the Display Menu, then click on Inventory Books, and find the reports related to inventory, such as inventory register, Item Material Center Ledger, etc.
Step 2: You can also see the inventory summary in the display menu for inventory reports.
Step 3: If you want to see Stock Details, go to the Display menu and click on Stock Status.
Step 4: In stock status, you can find stock-related reports like Closing Stock Reports, Opening Stock Reports, Tax Rate-wise Stock Status, HSN Code-wise, etc.

Why is BUSY stock value different than my manual calculation

If BUSY stock value is different then your manual calculation, to find the difference you can follow the given steps
Step 1 First check which stock valuation method you have selected in BUSY software
Step 2 Check stock report and search if any item has purchased in less or more value
Step 3 Check if you have adjusted any stock through stock adjustment voucher

What happens if I dont enter the opening balance in the software?

If you don't enter the opening balance in BUSY Accounting software, it may affect the accuracy of your financial statements and reports,please check below steps:
Step 1: If you don't enter the opening balance in the BUSY, it means the initial financial state of your accounts is not recorded.
Step 2: Without the opening balance,the financial position of your accounts at the start of the financial year.
Step 3: This can lead to issue in financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, as they may not provide a proper records.

I am facing an issue with stock not reducing automatically when sales are made. The stock level is showing incorrectly. How can I fix this?

If you the stock is not getting reduced even if you have generated the sales voucher then you can check below possibilities :
1. Quantity have not specified in the sales voucher.
2. Separate stock updatation date in dual voucher using by the party. For checking the same you can follow the steps:
Step 1: Go to Administration
Step 2: Click on the configuration
Step 3: Click on Features and option and go to Inventory tab
Step 4: From here you can check that Separate stock updatation date in dual voucher is enabled.

I made a purchase entry in BUSY but the landed cost is not getting updated in the inventory. What could be the reason for this?

If the landed cost is not getting updated in the inventory and landed cost is charged as bill sundry in invoice then follow below steps:
Step 1: Take a latest backup of the data.
Step 2: Then Go to administration menu and select masters.
Step 3: In masters select bill sundry and then click on modify to open the landed cost master.
Step 4: Then mention Y on affect the cost of goods in purchase and sale.
Step 5: Then click on save button to save the master and resave the voucher again.
