Absolutely, to automate SMS notifications for your invoices in BUSY Accounting Software, follow these steps:
Step 1:Log in to your company with your credentials.
Step 2:Now go to the Administration menu and select Configuration from the submenu.
Step 3:In the Configuration menu, choose SMS API Configuration.
Step 4:In the SMS API Configuration window, find data fields and groups such as Format, SMS API & Parameter Configuration.
Step 5:To configure Format, select the format for SMS configuration. You can create a new format by clicking the Add New Format button.
Step 6:In the SMS Configuration window, specify the format name. Check the Upload PDF checkbox if you want to send a PDF file as an attachment along with SMS.
Step 7:Add the SMS API, which is the web address provided by the SMS provider. Include parameters like User name, Password, Senders ID, Mobile number, and Message.
Step 8:Configure parameter settings like parameter name and value.
Step 9:Save the configuration by clicking the save button or pressing the F2 shortcut key.
Step 10:Once the SMS API is configured, go to the Administration menu again and select Configuration.
Step 11:In the Configuration menu, select Voucher Series Configuration.
Step 12:Choose the required series like sales, sales return, and open the voucher series configuration option.
Step 13:Look for Send SMS after saving, enable it by selecting Y, and click on the configure window.
Step 14:The number of formats is selected by default, so keep it as it is and move to the next step.
Step 15:Select SMS format 1, where you have to choose your newly created format.
Step 16:Disable the prompt for sending SMS by pressing N and also disable the Show SMS option by selecting N, Enable the Send to party option.
