If error mesage show Run Time Error ‘3050’ Could not lock file follow the below steps:
Step 1: Restart your system while disabling any temporary locks, if present.
Step 2: Check File Permissions Ensure that the folder where the Access database file .mdb is located has appropriate read/write permissions for all users who need access to the database. If the file is on a network drive, make sure that all users have appropriate network access rights.
Step 3: If someone has opened the database with exclusive operation then this can cause the error. Need to complete exclusive task first.
Step 4: Some antivirus or firewall software may block Access from creating the necessary lock files. Check your antivirus security software settings to ensure that it's not interfering with Access.
