Find Solutions to Common Issues Related to troubleshoot - client server
BUSY is running slow on Server and Client system. There can be various reasons.
Issue on Server System :Check if the BUSY in running slow only in one Company or in All Company.
Step 1: For One Company : After Data Backup do Reindex Database from HouseKeeping.
Step 2: For All Companies : a) Change the Data Location in the system
b) After Data Backup then Remove and Reinstall BUSY.
c) If Other Application is also running slow then its System Specific issue, Can Contact Hardware Person.
Issue on Client System : If BUSY is running Slow on Client System. Pls Follow Below Steps.
Step 1: BUSY Data path should be correct.
Step 2: Ping the LAN IP and check the connectivity. If Connectivity is not proper then have to contact IT Person.
Step 3: Copy Data from server system and then give direct data path on that client system for checking purpose. If Its running properly then need to Contact to IT Person.
To troubleshoot the slow performance of the software on your system, you can try the following steps:

If the BUSY is running slow then you can follow the below steps to improve its Performance:
Step 1: Right click on the BUSY icon, then go to Properties. Click on Compatibility and check both Run this program in compatibility mode and Run this program as an administrator.
Step 2: Open the User Account Control settings in the system, then drag the slider bar down to the bottom level for Never notify. Click OK and restart the system.
Step 3: Make sure the BUSY is excluded from antivirus.
Step 4: Open the Windows Firewall, then go to Advanced Settings and ensure that the BUSY Application is not blocked in inbound and outbound rules.
Step 5: Update the BUSY to the latest version available as updates often include Bugs fixes and performance improvement.
Step 6: Full hard drives can slow down your computer's processing speed.Delete unnecessary files, programs, and media.

1. Change the port and connect the dongle with different port.
2. Check the Model of your BUSY.
3. Update the dongel drivers
4. If you will still face the issue then please check the same dongle on different system
To troubleshoot BUSY performance issue then Pls Follow the Below Steps for improving the performance :

Step 1: The system should be window 7 or above and with the minimum required of 4GB RAM or higher, Hard disk space should be 2GB or more and minimum resolution should be 1024x768.
Step 2: Set the compatibility and down the UAC from control panel then restart the system.
Step 3: After data backup, uninstall all the BUSY old releases from the control panel.
Step 4: From Houskeeping, Check the incomplete vouchers and Junk characters.
Step 5: Check if this issue is coming only in BUSY or other Application Also. If it is in BUSY then after data backup, remove and reinstall it in another drive. If it is coming in Other applications also then its system specific issue, Need to Contact Hardware Provider.
If invoice is not generating and just gets stuck when you try to create,It may be your data issue,you can follow given steps:
Step 1:First you need to close your BUSY forcefully,
Step 2:Then open the BUSY and click on Backup Data,take latest backup of your company on your system.
Step 3:Then Click on Reindex DataBases,select that company which you are facing in issue,then run this process,
Step 4:After reindex successfully,re open the company and enter a voucher again and check, it will be resolve.
Step 5:If it is still showing issue then check your data size of company,
Step 6:If the Data size is heavy as above 2GB and you are using access,so we are recommend, you need to convert you BUSY
access to sql version,
Step 7:Set BUSY as compatible mode,right click on BUSY icon,click properties,then click compatibility,check the check box Run as administrator.
The file is taking long to load or not loading , check the following option :
Condition 1: If file is taking long to load or not loading on client system then check the connectivity between systems
Step 1: On server system open command prompt and type ipconfig then enter
Step 2: Then note the ipv4 address
Step 3: Go to client system and open command prompt then type ping and then server ipv4 address
Step 4: Connectivity speed should be between 1 to 5 ms
Condition 2: On server system if BUSY running slow
Step 1: Check if only one conpany is running slow
Step 2: Take backup of the company then go to housekeeping option
Step 3: Go to check incomplete ovucher and delete if have any incomplete voucher
Step 4: Then go to reindex database option and run the process
To resolve issues related to slow work speed in BUSY, you need to follow these troubleshooting steps:
Step 1. Might be junk characters and incomplet vouchers exist in the database, so you need to check and clear them from the housekeeping menu after taking backup.
Step 2: Might be the system doesn't have any free space and temp files exist so you need to check these also.
Step 3: In case of multiuser license the client system running slow due to networking issue, so you need to check the network sharing from your IT person.
Step 4: If the data size is heavy due to multiple financial years exist then you can split the current financial year.
Step 5: If you want to keep your financial years combined and data size is heavy then we recommend to convert your license into SQL database.
The software not working when billing, check the following option :
Condition 1: If BUSY running slow in client system then check the connectivity between systems
Step 1: On server system open command prompt and type ipconfig then enter
Step 2: Then note the ipv4 address
Step 3: Go to client system and open command prompt then type ping and then server ipv4 address

If you are using an MS Access database, then the data size exceeds 2 GB. That time, the better suggestion is to go for the MS SQL database.
