I am trying to email invoices to my clients from BUSY but the emails are not going out. What could be wrong?
There could be several reasons why emails are not going out when trying to email invoices to parties from BUSY. If you want to send invoice through email then you have to configure email configuration in BUSY Software.
steps to configure email settings in BUSY
Step 1. Go to administration menu
Step 2. Go to configuration than press enter,
Step 3. Go to email configuration press enter, email configuration window appears.
if want to send from gmail id
Step 4. In left upper side go to email sending options select send directly
than go to server configuration settings in smtp server fill smtp.gmail.com
in user name fill email id
in password have to fill app password
for creating app password should follow these steps.
open gmail id
step 1. Click on the iqon in upper right side
step 2. Go to google account option
step 3. Then there is some options will appear go to security option
step 4. Then go to 2-step verification turn on this option.
Step 5. Go to app password
Step 6. Fill app name BUSY then create app password.
Step 7. Select the password which appear in a window,copy and paste in BUSY sofware email configuration in password option.
Now you can send email invoces from BUSY and check
