The voucher PDFs I generate in BUSY are not displaying the QR codes. Why is this happening and how can I get the QR codes to show properly?
To display a QR code on a Voucher PDF after generating an E invoice, follow these steps based on your Windows Server system:
If it's a Normal Windows Server:
Step 1: Confirm that your server is a standard Windows Server (not Windows Server 2012 R2).
Step 2: Navigate to the Transaction section within your accounting software.
Step 3: Choose Modify to edit the voucher you want to work on.
Step 4: In the voucher editing window, look for and click on the Transport Details option.
Step 5: Remove the INR number, Acknowledgment Number (Ack No.), and Acknowledgment Date (Ack Date) from the voucher.
Step 6: Save the voucher after making these modifications.
Step 7: Re generate the E invoice using the same voucher number.
Step 8: The E invoice will be generated successfully on the same voucher number, and it will display the QR code.
If it's Windows Server 2012 R2:
Step 1: Log in to your Windows Server 2012 R2 using an account with administrative privileges.
Step 2: Open the Server Manager. You can usually find this in the taskbar or by pressing the Windows key and searching for it.
Step 3: In the Server Manager window, click on Add roles and features from the dashboard. This opens the Add Roles and Features Wizard.
Step 4: In the wizard, click Next until you reach the Select features section.
Step 5: Scroll down the list of features to find User Interfaces and Infrastructure.
Step 6: Check the box next to Desktop Experience to select it. A pop up window will appear to confirm the installation of additional features.
Step 7: Click Add Features to confirm the installation of the Desktop Experience feature.
Step 8: After adding the feature, click Next through the wizard until you reach the Install button.
Step 9: Click Install to begin the installation of the Desktop Experience feature.
Step 10: Once the installation is complete, you will see a Installation succeeded message. Click Close to exit the wizard.
Step 11: You may need to restart the server for the changes to take effect. You can do this immediately or at a later time.
After completing these steps and, if necessary, restarting the server, the Desktop Experience feature will be enabled on your Windows Server 2012 R2, providing a more desktop like user interface experience.
